Hello 🙂
I just got back from a 90 minute hot power flow yoga class and I’m just a big, open ball of love (and sweat) right now as a result. Looots of heart openers, back bends and chatarungas….I think I FINALLY found a studio that I love here in California and I’m asking for classes from Santa ;). I miss my home studio sooo much and nothing compares, but I think this place might grow on me.
When I got home from yoga I was half starved and threw together a monster salad for lunch—
I used spinach, leftover kabocha, cucumber, red bell pepper, a falaful sunshine burger, hummus and hot sauce.
With half a mango on the side—
+ double bergamot tea 🙂
Time to crack down on writing! There’s a potential tofu party at Hardy’s tonight…stay tuned!

December 14, 2009 at 12:29 pmI used to eat at least a mango everyday when I was young. I swear I rarely get sick because of it! So delish!

December 14, 2009 at 12:33 pmI had Kabocha squash last year in my CSA box and didn’t like it. With all your raving, I picked one up at Whole Paycheck and I’ll be trying it soon. Hopefully, it’s better than last years!

December 14, 2009 at 12:36 pmHoooray, I am so glad you found a studio that you like. I recently changed studio’s when i started my yoga teacher training and have fallen in love with a new place. I never thought I would find a place that fit the way my first studio did but now, I truly feel like I have come home.

December 14, 2009 at 1:17 pmIt is so hard when you find a studio & teacher you love… and then you have to move. I have finally found THE BEST yoga teacher in SF (in my personal opinion). Let me know if you want the details… He is amazing.

December 14, 2009 at 1:35 pmJenna, it’s fantastic that you finally found a yoga studio you enjoy! The best yoga studios just give you this sense of reassurance once you walk in the door; it’s incredibly calming. Your hot power class sounds super… backbends are the BEST!

December 14, 2009 at 2:26 pmI’ve just started doing a hot yoga class that I love. There’s something about the heat that makes it more of an experience than other yoga classes. I felt so cleansed!

December 14, 2009 at 6:15 pmTofu party? Take pics!
Glad you found a great studio.
I don’t go to studios often now – expensive(!) and honestly it takes too much – at least a 1/2 hour drive…so I try to do it at home – try being the operative word. Oye – I suck lately :(.
Your salad looks good – uber duber healthified if you ask me!
Oh and that’s great that your parents are coming to you – that’s what it’s all about anyhow -family and friends. Cheers girl 🙂
How are doing with getting the wrting done? Any writer’s block?? Fears? Love to hear about it!

December 15, 2009 at 7:44 amFinding a studio you love is great. I wish I had more options around here. We only have one studio locally and they are okay but not great. I take classes occassionally but usually just end up doing it at home. I miss the studio I went to in Colorado that was awesome.
