Good evening!
It was the picture perfect day today! I got to hug trees and fuzzy stuffed llamas…what could be better?!

After lunch, my mom and I headed into the town of Sonoma, which is totally picturesque and cute. Lots of fun shops and cafes and a really big pretty park. I tasted the best fudge ever at this old fashioned candy store—

And also snacked on my favorite flavor of larabar while we strolled—
For dinner, we ate at one of my favorite spots in Healdsburg—Scopa!
I had a glass of prosecco:

And we ordered the grilled calamari (my FAVORITE thing on the menu!):

A bowl of the soup of the day (not sure exactly what it was called but it had huge beans in it as well as chilies and green) topped with grilled bread:

And we split a margharita pizza. I love Scopa’s pizzas—they are suuuuper thin and very light on the cheese. Very authentic!

I was a happy girl! 🙂

Time for BED! Going to wake up early, do some yoga and then head into the city with my mom for lunch and to pick up my dad from the airport!
Goooooodnight!

December 23, 2009 at 5:43 amI had a neighbor who actually had llamas and the worst thing ever was when I saw the llamas walking down my driveway in the middle of the day when my neighbors were at work. I had to round them up and get them into their pin again…….note to self, they bite and spit.

December 23, 2009 at 8:52 amWhat an eclectic mix of flavors. 😀 I love fudge, but only in teeny amounts—more than that, and it’s sugar overload for me. The PB&J Larabar is pretty darn tasty, too. I’m glad you had an amazing night of eats, as always!
