Well, drains still plugged. But at least I had a kick butt workout and ate falafel! Life could be way worse.
Dude…if frying chickpeas is wrong, I don’t want to be right. THIS WAS SO FREAKING GOOD!!!!!!!!! Memories of L’arc du Falafel in Paris ran through my head (think I’ll write that chapter in the book later today, actually!) and I was in fried chickpea heaven. These were huge though and I left one behind on the plate…but ate everything else. Perfect tahini sauce, too! yummm!!! A huge thank you to Anna for the suggestion!
Yoga was great too. Lots of jumping chairs, leaping crow poses, double chatarungas and handstands to wheel against the wall…plus many a crunch! I chomped on a pear and half of this bar pre-bootcamp:
Off to run more errands and hang out at the Honda dealership while my oil is changed and my tires are rotated. Good times!

January 19, 2010 at 4:30 pmOh falafel how I love thee… My husband and I went to L’As du Falafel in Paris and I fell head over heels. It was AMAZING!!! So flavorful and so satisfying. Loved the little restaurant too. We ended that meal with an ice cream cone from Bertillhon. Sigh…I want to go back!
