Morning y’all!
I have this crazy busy day ahead of me. I’m having a little bit of a plumbing “issue” with ALL of my drains in my house right now and the weather outside is rather out of control! Hoping to get the plumber out here today…or something! Currently I have to brush my teeth in the shower and have dirty dishes lined up all over my kitchen. At least I slept for 11 hours last night. ahhhhh
Anyways, I had a delicious bowl of overnight oats for breakfast:

So good. Used 1/2 c oats, 1/2 c soymilk, 1/2 c Oikos, 1 banana, almond butter, cinnamon and agave.
Still to come:
- book writing madness
- power bootcamp class
- 5,000 mile tune up for my honda
- freelance deadline
- my drains
- my sanity
Be back!

I forgot to put my oats into the fridge last night so I skipped breakfast! But Publix has larabars on sale 10 for $10! So I had my first Larabar! Yum!
Hope you have a great day! Sit back and have a cup of tea at some point!

January 19, 2010 at 10:02 amOh, I hate when those things happen. Just screws up my mojo and sets a bad tone for the day. However, it’s so much better when things get fixed and you feel like you can finally clean! Hopefully the plumber comes by soon!

January 19, 2010 at 3:36 pmYour overnight oats are always my favorite 🙂
Hope you get your drainage problem worked out! I never realized how much I depended on the water system (almost as much as my computer) until we were on a “boil water advisory” at home last week. Brushing teeth with bottled water is not fun.
Meredith (Pursuing Balance)
January 19, 2010 at 6:41 pmOh no! Drainage issues are icky. I had a friend who lived in an apartment where all the pipes seemed to be interconnected . . . so things from the garbage disposal in the kitchen would come up in the bathroom sink, and things from the toilet would come up in the shower . . . her apartment complex told her this was “normal”.
Michele | aka Raw Juice Girl
January 19, 2010 at 7:39 pmYum! Overnight oats! 😀
And that’s quite the list you have there! Phew!
Brittany
January 19, 2010 at 7:47 pmOh man Jenna- I know how you feel. At one point our sink drain was broken so we were doing dishes in the bathtub for a week. I hope the drainage issues get fixed asap.
PS – I’ve been reading, just haven’t had much time for commenting. I hope you are doing well!!
