Good evening!
I’ve had a lovely day today. It really did begin with bacon and end with chocolate….how can you go wrong?!
My cubicle:
I got to sit down with our guests this afternoon for one of our Harvest Luncheons at the winery and it was quite the meal! This week we are having Bistro Ralph cater, and I already had the pleasure of experiencing Ralph’s amazing cooking the other evening (remember the 1,000 fries?!).
Talk about RICH food! It was delicious though…I felt like I was in Paris!
The wedge salad:
Duck confit with creamy polenta, beet greens and wild mushrooms:
Chocolate pave with hazelnut creme anglais (I only had a few bites of this…I was stuffed to the max!):
Vino…obviously:
Gahhhhhhhhhhhhh
After this meal all I really wanted to do was lay down and take a nap! I never thought I would be hungry again but…..
The guys missed me living with them so much that they forced me to come over, eat spaghetti, drink Terra a Lago and use wireless internet. Well not really. But I can’t turn down good food, can I? 😉
G’nite!

October 8, 2009 at 8:20 pmIt’s been interesting seeing the food that you’re eating. You’ve always been a healthy eater, but I have to say that I think that you’re eating much more ‘farmers market’ type meals–straingt from the garden. Yummy looking food! ~M
