Old Friends

Hello friends!

I know you have all waited in eager suspense for the winner of the Avocate giveaway so without anything further, the random winner is………Amritika! She wrote: “Yay Avocate! I use only natural and chemical free products for my sensitive skin. This sounds like a perfect opportunity to try something before I invest and buy it myself.”

Thank you, Amritika!!! Please shoot me an email with your shipping info! 🙂

I was sort of down last night but feel much better this morning, partially because I’m planning a trip home to see my best friend, Christie, tomorrow! We haven’t seen each other since May when I spontaneously road tripped up to see her in Charleston for a weekend and we have a LOT to catch up on. 🙂

This morning I had an old classic:

Oatmeal made with almond milk, banana and cinnamon topped with blueberries and barney buttah! Plus, a grapefruit half—

I’m headed to yoga at noon and starting a new bible study with some girls from church this evening….my next post might come a little later because Wednesdays are always quite busy!
Stay tuned!

Oh Jenna…Happy to hear you are feeling better this morning. You have had lots on your mind the past few months. I love the mantra I have on my wall at work “I can choose to be happy”. It means that happiness is the result of small decisions we make all day long. Whether it’s wearing a favorite necklace or catching up with old friends who make you feel good. So good for you with your planned trip to see Christie. Enjoy the day!

I am doing a week of yoga, I started on Sunday and it is going surprisingly well. I have done it a couple times a week and know that it can produce a good sweat but never thought it was enough but after HLS and hearing you talk aboout it I thought I would give it another try. Now I am not absolutely loving it, but I am doing cat, cow, table, upward and downward facing dog. I find myself sitting up straighter (especially in the car where I tend to sink down when driving) so I am definitely getting something out of it. After my week I’ll see how much of it I want to continue. Thanks for the inspiration which ever which way I decide to go after Saturday.

Hi Jenna. I’d love to know what bible study you are doing. I just started Beth Moore’s Beloved Disciple and I’m loving it. You actually inspired me to look into Beth Moore last spring when you were doing Esther and I did the online version of her Believing God study. It was exactly what I needed at that point in my life and it was truly life changing. I can’t thank you enough for pointing me in her direction! Best of luck with your study!

      Lorraine,

We are doing a study on prayer…I’m not sure what materials we will be using! I LOVE Beth Moore and am thinking about actually re-doing her Believing God study because it changed my life sooo much. Amazing stuff!

Nope–I really don’t strength train at all. Yoga is my strength training form of choice!
