Happy Monday!
Boy, is it ever raining cats and dogs out there!! A nice morning to be stuck baking bread. 😉 I snacked on a yummy cinnamon roll larabar before work:
And then had some oats for breakfast on my break. I’m so boring!! I really need to change things up for the sake of the blog. Sorry if you guys are bored out of your minds reading about the same breakfast every day but it keeps me going for 5 hours and with my job, that’s the most important! Here’s 3/4th cup oats with 1/2 cup reduced fat milk, 1 1/2 cups water, cinnamon, chocolate almond butter and blueberries:
I love how BIG my oatmeal bowls (err tupperwares) are in the morning. It takes me almost my entire break to eat it all!
And for lunch, I had my new favorite split pea soup:
I LOVE this soup because it is sooooo thick. Seriously, its the thickest split pea soup I’ve ever had. Coats my tummy perfectly! I also had a slice of my oatmeal bread with a babybell cheese:
This afternoon I plan to do some yoga—the house is finally quiet and I plan to make good use out of it!
See you tonight for dinner! =)

February 2, 2009 at 1:42 pmI agree with Beadie – I also eat oatmeal every morning. I can’t help it if that’s all I want! Your food from yesterday looked amazing – yummy cookies and bbq.
Is that chocolate almond butter from a jar, or freshly ground? I think I need to try some either way 🙂

February 3, 2009 at 2:56 pmCaroline,
Honestly, the only place I’ve ever seen this brand is at Greenwise, the store I work at. I’m sure it is more places because its not Greenwise made but I haven’t had any luck! Maybe check out Whole Foods or Trader Joes?
