I did a yogadownload today that yall MUST check out! First of all, it is FREE! That’s right—a 70 minute power vinyasa class for free. Second of all, it reallyyyy works you—I can’t feel my legs right now after the flow from warrior one to warrior two to eagle to half moon to revolved half moon and then to standing splits. Seriously now. I ended the class with standing on my head for awhile followed by savasana and seated mediation. Here’s a link to the class. Try it and let me know what you think!
After yoga I relaxed and read for a bit then took a loooooong hot shower to wake myself back up. Downstairs, I was greeted with a glass of red wine and pita chips (made by me this morning!) and hummus:
And then for dinner tonight my mom made one of my favorites—-pan seared scallops in a tomato basil cream sauce over linguine. Its really not as rich as it sounds—the recipe is from old school Cooking Light and I’m sure you can find it on their website if you do a little search. My mom has been making it for years and I just love it!
With a slice of my bread of course! 🙂
Ryan came over and we had a lot of fun talking and laughing. I had another tiny glass of red wine with dinner and now my eyes are burning and shutting since I have been awake for almost 19 hours. Gag. Time for bed for Jenna! Since I don’t have to work tomorrow I am headed to my favorite yoga class from 9-10:30—its the “yoga grooves” one where they blast fun music while we flow in vinyasa. It’s challenging and awesome.
Oh man. I can’t even type anymore. Body is shutting down. Must go to bed. ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz

January 16, 2009 at 6:32 amSarah,
there’s no real “recipe” for the pita chips…….we make them at work and sell them—-all you do is just slice up pita, drizzle on some olive oil, salt and pepper and bake for like 5 minutes at 400. SO easy
