Behind The Butter

Welcome Open Sky!

So, I finally did it. I’m very excited to announce this morning that I have partnered with Open Sky to bring to you…..the official Eat Live Run Shop!!!!

Over the past week I’ve been working pretty hard, handpicking products for you that have a special place in my heart. The products in my shop are products that I own, use and personally love…..little things like a microplane, pastry tips (the same ones I used to frost the boy’s cupcakes!) and biscuit cutters as well as raw cacao nibs, yoga mats and coconut butter. I think you’ll love everything and there’s still much more to come!

I’m still adding tons more products but I think right now we have a pretty good start. I’ll also be doing specials and promotions on certain items….it’s going to be fun!

Happy Friday!

Awh yay for getting a shop!
I don’t get the Open Sky thing – maybe I’ve misread it, but it always seems like the stuff on there is really exspensive? (and I don’t mean that in a nasty way at all, I’m just curious)
    Have a good afternoon 🙂

    Sounds nice.
I heard of the Open Sky shops….I was thinking maybe one day would be nice to open one…but I think they are open to U.S. people only ( although anyone can buy)!

I don’t get the open sky thing either! Everyone has the same products on their shop and I just usually go to the company’s website if I really want the product.

That makes sense….however (and I was unaware of this myself before I talked to Open Sky about it), you really ARE buying straight from the company…Open Sky is just the platform that allows me to get you the products straight from them. It’s the same thing as buying direct, but all the products are organized into one spot so its less hassle than going to different company websites and searching for things you like. Make sense? It can be confusing at first…I’m sorry!

I’ve had good buying experiences with Open Sky and there are often deals such as saving 10%. But things can be pricey! But I look forward to looking at your store 🙂

Congrats on the shop! I agree with the other commentors that it’s always cool to see the great products, but they can normally be found for MUCH cheaper on other web sites. still fun to see your recommendations, though!

I’ve never bought from Open Sky, but I like seeing a blogger’s recommendations. Happy Friday!

I like it for the recommendations. I’m always on the fence when it comes to these stores and stuff…I have an aSTORE for amazon on mine with a few products…but it’s mostly for recommending some books or whatever that have sparked me, etc…versus for money. I’ve given up hope of making money off my blog haha :)…unfortunately work it is…

I love the mug- I just bought dishes at a garage sale and My Mom is so funny she wants to find mugs to match. I however believe that coffee mugs should not match but show personality

Look forward to the recommendations. I have one! The book am reading Sam Wyly’s ‘$1,000 Dollars & An Idea. Entrepreneur to Billionaire.’ Fast read, great (green) values, good for those w/o MBA/business w/o being boring, takes in interesting historical bits of nation as he zips along.

When I was about 23 a friend and I started a biz that was so successful that my father who was an Exec of a national company said he was about to quit and manage growth for us, ‘Thanks, Dad, we did this to get away from working FOR men!’ It was a lot of fun, a ton of work, and lead to bigger things. So cheers to your latest entrepreneurial segment!

I think this is an amazing idea! So many times I’ve found myself on blogs (this one especially), coveting some product they’re using and wanting to get one. On a few occasions I’ve gone searching for it, and twice I ordered something, and it ended up being the wrong product. It was completely my fault, but having a direct link to a product would be really helpful. And as I’m sure a lot of other people will agree, as a longtime reader, I trust your opinion and would be more likely to buy something I was considering if it received a positive review from you. I’m so excited for this, but my wallet won’t be. 🙂
