When Tickling Gets Dangerous

Good Morning Bloggies!
I feel so bad. Last night Ryan was tickling me and I was trying to get him back and I accidentally sideswiped his nose with the ring on my right hand. It started bleeding and immediately swelling up! I had to play doctor and have him lay down with my pink migraine mask on:

And now this morning he has a little black and blue spot on the side of his nose! My poor date!

I made him breakfast in bed—his favorite—peanut butter and honey butter on two slices of my homemade Portuguese sweet bread (I made the bread awhile ago at work then froze individual slices)

While I had a packet of Nature’s Path HempPlus oatmeal (made with 2/3rds cup water) with a MASHED banana in it and a big spoonful of cinnamon raisin pb

Let me tell yall, the mashed banana in this oatmeal made ALL the difference. It was awesome!!! It gave the oats a very creamy texture and subtle sweetness without adding any other sweetener. Yummy!

Since I just woke up and we have to leave around noon today for the wedding, I’ve decided to just take an all out rest day from yoga….biking…anything. My body likes rest, too! I have to go run some errands now then come back and shower and get ready but I think I’ll be able to post again before we hit the road.

Have a lovely morning!

Rest days are important and it usually isn’t until the day AFTER the rest day that I fully realize that. Exercising with a fresh body is so much better!

    Have fun at the wedding!

And BTW, those yoga poses are impressive! You got ’em on the first take, right 😉

Ripe bananas make all the difference in oatmeal! They thicken and sweeten – I have been able to cut my splenda down from 7 to 2 packets by using ripe bananas.
