Internet! I have not forgotten about you!
Sorry. Things got a little crazy there for the past 36 hours but I promise I’ve been thinking about you all the time. I have so many things on my heart to tell you but don’t want to overwhelm. And it’s easy to be overwhelmed. For instance, why is my hand twice of size of my face here?
Overwhelming. All of it. There were wine tastings, friends, lobsters, cheeses, more wine, omelets, dance parties, strobe lights, fog machines, basset hounds, hot tubs and grilled veggies. There was laughter, singing, snorting, sleeping and much, much eating.
It was SUCH a fun weekend…hate to see those end. Last night we cooked for about ten friends. I love that.
Like a beast set loose in the wild, I thrive in my natural habitat.
And there was so much food. I’m talking local cheeses with truffle honey, baked brie, vegetables, sweet potato fries, grilled salmon, bbq ribs, lobster and fresh tuna salad.
There was also a little bit of this, on a perfect Sonoma Sunday….
Theme of the weekend? Sometimes, you just gotta get funky.
