Breakfast

Junk in the Trunk

Hello, it’s Monday!

I slept for many, many hours last night and it felt blissful. Today my to-do list is going to be crankin’. Sidenote: every day I write out a to-do list, either on google calendar or on scratch paper on my desk. It keeps me organized….what about you?

Breakfast was a large bowl of Optimum Power cereal with almond milk, banana and one strawberry.

Sipping on some organic earl gray and going to hit the gym here in a few minutes (okay, more like an hour). Another sidenote: that dress that I wore in my weekend photos is from Target. Obviously. I don’t think they still have it though because I got it about four months ago.

I can’t stop dancing! I can’t stop the beat!
Actually, my dancing just involves a lot of hopping up and down and shaking my almost non-existant booty. And speaking of booties, I had a pretty good one goin’ there for awhile—a springy product of too many wine tastings and foie gras last winter. It’s shrunk back to its normal almost non-existant size nowadays but who’s to say when it will make its reappearance.
On another note, I can’t believe today is June 21st already. Where is this summer going??!

I’m a to-do list person too. It helps me out though because sometimes I forget about little tasks that I wanted to get accomplished. At least I know that if I write it down, it will be remembered some place!

I make a to-do list every day too! In my planner I write everything I need to do and a little check box next to it. So when it’s done, I can make a little “x”. It gives me a sense of accomplishment 🙂

This is such a fun blog and you have such a sweet, intelligent voice. It makes me really sad that you promote foie gras though. It requires such abusive treatment of an animal. It would probably upset your readers if you were keeping a goose in a closet and habitually shoving a pipe down it’s throat 3 times a day to force feed it so that you could eat it’s liver later. Sounds so dramatic, but that’s what happens. If anyone is interested watch it on youtube. You seem like such a smart, nice person, I hope you will think about it.

I’m the queen of to-do lists. Got one every single day! Probably to a fault, hehe.

Ha–‘Shake-Up Of the Plush Booty’. Sounds like the name of a SOMA San Francisco Club or a racy Wall Street financial crime novel. As in Bernie Maddof still reportedly has $9 billion of his ill-gotten gains hidden. Off-shore unnumbered Cayman Islands shell bank account? Now that’s plush booty. hehe

I have a 5×7 beautiful hardcover ‘To-Do’ booklet to keep on desk by laptop/cellphone…small cup of pens, highlighter, scissors, etc. Have tried keeping electronic to-do lists in various forms–and just prefer writing down long term, short term–makes me think about, distill, organize, edit things more. I don’t buy/do anything that doesn’t cohere with my over-all style/goals.

    I love Target’s clothes!

I also love making lists, but I’m terrible at actually sticking to them. I rarely complete everything on my list, but I figure making the list actually makes me do SOME of the things on my list, which probably wouldn’t have gotten done at all without the list.

Such a cute dress, can’t remember how many times I’ve said to myself “Why can’t we have Target in Canada?!”.

You do look like you’ve lost quite a bit of weight. I bet your anthro dress is fitting you just right now. Are you just doing summer shape up and hittin’ the gym?

    • jenna
      June 21, 2010 at 12:05 pm

I actually have only lost MAYBE three pounds, if that. I think I just toned up and replaced extra fat with muscle. I’ve been hitting the gym about 5 times a week, doing Gina’s Summer Shape Up plan and also doing a lot of high intensity interval training on the treadmill.
