A Hankerin’ For Falafel

Hey hey!

Currently sitting outside of my gate at SFO…..got a loooooong flight to Atlanta this afternoon and I don’t get “home” to Savannah until a little past midnight. I can’t wait to sleep in tomorrow and lay by the pool. 😉

I had, you guessed it, another spinach feta wrap from Starbucks this morning. I LOVE these!

I headed to the city early to meet Beth for falafel. She took me to the best place and we both chowed down.

I then successfully navigated the Bart system for the first time (thanks, Beth, for the awesome map!) and my flight leaves in a little over an hour. I can’t wait to start this book on the plane!

I’m honestly not feelin’ too hot right now….I just feel incredibly worn out and exhausted. Can’t wait to get home!

Have a great trip Jenna!! I’m not going to lie, I am a little jealous!! When I was growing up we lived in SC and used to go to Hilton Head Island for vacation. I love the low country!! So beautiful with all the spanish moss and white beaches, and of course I can’t get enough of the fresh seafood 🙂

Oh man, you are tempting me with the repeated posts of the Spinach wrap! Too bad it has 900mg of sodium 🙁

Love your blog! I’ve been reading for a few months but this is my first time commenting 🙂

Make sure to drink lots of water! Airplanes always dehydrate me.

Hope you enjoy going home to a brand new home and homecity too! That makes a bit of an exciting venture…to see what and how the new home feels like 🙂
Funny how “home” is really wherever one’s parents or family is…
Bet that brings a lot of comfort to your parents in itself, knowing that you feel you are going home and not just visiting the parent’s new place/city.
Any thoughts of Savannah rather than Charleston…or let’s see perhaps AUSTIN after Paris?!! Tee hee hee!!!

Hope you are well rested and feeling better! You always find the best food places! Did you find any really good falafel places when you lived in the Tampa area? My husband had Falafel in the Middle East when he was in the Navy and loved it! Any time he has tried it in the US he has been disappointed!

Love your pictures too! Have a wonderful Easter weekend!

I’ve been reading your blog for the past few weeks now, and I love it! I love your down-to-earth writing style and the photos you post 🙂 Oh- and I love falafel! As an Egyptian-American, it’s one of the vegetarian meals I grew up eating, especially during Lent! I’ll be posting a recipe soon on my blog.. 🙂
    Happy Easter!
