Hellooo!
Hope y’all are enjoying your weekend. I know Molly and I sure are! Last night we went to my favorite restaurant here, Zazu, and it was nothing short of aaaamazing! We started with the best cheese plate that I’ve ever had:

There’s really no words to describe how delicious this was. I actually closed my eyes and moaned……two words: truffle honey.
I ordered some sort of chickpea creation for dinner that came with feta and a farm fresh egg on top:

So good!!! We washed it all down with some lovely Quivira vino.
There may or may not have been an impromptu dance party/sing along that lasted late into the evening. ๐ This morning we hit up Willow Wood for some brunchie brunch in Graton. I had baked eggs with spinach and goat cheese with a side of bacon:

Plus like four cups of coffee. I’m feeling like a new woman now. Amazing what some coffee and bacon can do.
And we’re off to enjoy the day! See you laterrr ๐

March 27, 2010 at 11:57 amYummm I live a good cheese plate! Are those marcona almonds? Looks like a fantastic dinner, not to mention brunch! Farm drag are so rich! I bet it made such a nice creamy contrast to the chick peas… Might have to try that out sometime!

March 27, 2010 at 12:05 pmWhat an “eggs-cellent” post. Oy, that was a clunker of a food pun if I ever did make one. Seriously though, it looks like you’re living it up (and eating it up) well with your pal. Enjoy it!

I love your photos by the way – they look really quaint or something…are you interested in taking pictures/photography as well? Or is that just “part of the blog” ?

March 28, 2010 at 11:56 amThe farm-fresh eggs are always so much better than the ones that have sitting around the store for a while. My university has a strong farming department, and the eggs that come from their henhouses … oh, yeah ๐
