Happy Sunday!
I started my morning with a little somethin’ somethin’
Oh friend, how I’ve missed you. 🙂
I tried a new combo in my oats this morning—used 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup water, 1 banana, 1/2 scoop protein, 2 tsp maca and a glob of almond butter.
Tasted even better eaten in my bed:
Here’s a dirty little secret: I eat breakfast in bed EVERY MORNING. I mean, why not? It’s not like I have a kitchen table or even a couch to sit on. Why not be warm underneath the covers? And so I do. Try it sometime!
I’m jumping in the shower, meeting a friend for coffee and then heading to work. Have a great day everyone!

November 29, 2009 at 7:35 amI love breakfast in bed. It’s such a cozy and comforting start to the day. I used to eat my oats in bed every morning as well until I finally got an oat table that I love eating my meals at. I still love coffee and tea in bed, though!

November 29, 2009 at 9:10 amAlmond butter is just so good . . . it’s been a while since I’ve had it too! It’s on my “list of things to buy after I graduate and get a job.” Also on the list: sugar-free hazelnut soy lattes! Plain coffee, while less expensive, is just not the same!
