Whenever I don’t know what to do with something, I stick it in the freezer (this goes for salmon, chocolate, crayons and rice paper).
I can’t sew to save my life and don’t even own an iron.
I don’t believe in eating just one cookie. Or drinking just one glass of wine for that matter.
The best ab workout is often done by means of hula hoop.
I love to order creme brulee at restaurants, eat the entire burnt sugar top, and then call it a night.
I just changed my Brita filter for the first time…now that I am 25 and all.
Nora@LiveLifeEatRight
June 28, 2010 at 9:59 amhaha I love it!! I had a hula hoop and a “skip it”…extra cardio for kids right! What ever happend to the good old days when playing red light green light was your daily exersize?
And NEVER stop at one cookie or glass of wine. Life’s too short…have two…or more 🙂

June 28, 2010 at 10:03 amI love that you just changed your Brita. I’m terrible about that as well, though I don’t think it took me 25 years… I did wash out the pitcher a few months ago though when my brother came to visit and asked me why my Brita was green!!! Eeewwww.

June 28, 2010 at 10:06 amHula-Hoop and creme brulee sound so good right now. What is this ‘iron’ you speak of? 😉
Sarah for Real
June 28, 2010 at 10:12 amGood idea with the creme brulee! The top is the best part!
Katherine @ Left Coast Contessa
June 28, 2010 at 10:17 amBy far the best part of creme brulee is cracking the top! Sometimes I order it just for the fun of cracking it. Amen to more than one cookie and wine.
Sarah @This Is It
June 28, 2010 at 10:30 amI thought I was the only one who never ironed! I have one because it was my great Gram’s, but I have yet to use it. I might just be waiting for a special occasion or something?! Cute shirt in the photo!

June 28, 2010 at 10:30 amLove this. You rock, my dear friend!

June 28, 2010 at 10:33 amChocolate in the freezer?!
Jamile
June 28, 2010 at 10:35 amNo iron? Wow! Do you dry clean everything? I hate ironing, but my clothes get wrinkled and I feel like a total slob if I’m all wrinkled. Mind you, sometimes I just take the shame and go wrinkled, but I don’t feel right about it! 🙂 P.S. I don’t eat one of anything. If one is good, then like seven is totally better. 😉
Becki @ HikeBikeEat
June 28, 2010 at 10:37 amMy freezer is getting an overhaul today because I have overstuffed it with things I don’t know what to do with, and now can’t fit any real food in it.
Rachel
June 28, 2010 at 10:38 amThankfully I have a boyfriend who will iron everything. I suck at it.. and if he isn’t around, I throw it in the dryer and hope for the best 🙂
Jennu
June 28, 2010 at 10:38 amI just bought my first iron! And I definetly can’t sew:)
Robyn @ Frugal 'n' Fit!
June 28, 2010 at 10:39 amYou have willpower regarding the creme brulee! Once my spoon breaks that sugar-coated top, there is no stopping me.
Lindsay @ Summit Sandwiches
June 28, 2010 at 10:41 amI’m impressed you stop with the brulee. Once I’ve gone and eaten the coating, the creme also has to be consumed too!

June 28, 2010 at 10:42 amLove this post. My challenge is stopping at 2 glasses of wine…
Freya @ Brit Chick R
June 28, 2010 at 10:43 amHaha – I do the exact same freezer trick with…well, everything!!
sassy molassy
June 28, 2010 at 10:47 amI LOVE That top. So cute. I just changed my brita as well. Those filters can get spendy so I space them out…like a new one every 6 months or so.
Daisy
June 28, 2010 at 10:51 amI love your confessions posts. I own an iron and i attempt to sew sometimes. I’m terrible at both but I like to think i get the job done to the best I am able!
Ellie
June 28, 2010 at 10:54 amI can’t sew either! My Mom has tried for years to teach me but I just can’t. I also don’t own an iron. Wrinkle Releaser works for me.
Allie
June 28, 2010 at 10:54 amha- i thought not owning an iron was my dirty little secret. i’m so glad this is normal!
Shelby
June 28, 2010 at 10:57 amAhhh! Cute hoop, my friend 🙂 It’s always nice to find other bloggers that share my strange little passion. Oh and I don’t own an iron either…life’s too short, right?! Have a great day!

June 28, 2010 at 10:58 amYou are too cute!
I don’t believe in just one glass of wine either 😉
Cynthia (It All Changes)
June 28, 2010 at 11:01 amThe cracking sugar was always my favorite part of creme brulee…I let someone else eat the rest. That was my way of sharing 🙂
Marina
June 28, 2010 at 11:02 amI agree with all of the above 😀 one cookie, or one glass of wine?
Romans said it pretty simply, “testis unus testis nullus ” 😀
and hola hooping is awesome!
Kelly
June 28, 2010 at 11:02 amhaha, too funny 🙂 My sister has a brita and she has never changed the filter (she’s 31!).
Monique@She's Going The Distance
June 28, 2010 at 11:06 amhaha, I can’t really hula hoop. But I own it on Wii Fit, like it’s my JOB! 🙂

June 28, 2010 at 11:08 amSincere words to live by. If a glass of wine and a hulahoop won’t cure you, nothing will.

June 28, 2010 at 11:10 amI use my hair straightner to get the wrinkles out of my clothes. Works great!

June 28, 2010 at 11:20 amThe freezer is by far the best storage I have in the house. And I absolutely love hula hooping – it’s one of my few talents, which also include identifying nail polish color by name.
Heather (Heather's Dish)
June 28, 2010 at 11:26 amcan’t everything go in the freezer? i want to buy a huge one to put in our garage as well…just because there are that many things i don’t know what to do with 🙂

June 28, 2010 at 11:34 amLove this! I’m the same way with almost everything you listed.

June 28, 2010 at 11:36 amLove it. I don’t believe in eating just one cookie either. 🙂

June 28, 2010 at 11:38 amHaha I totally do the same thing with the freezer!
I made some banana bread that wasn’t set properly so I stuck it in the freezer and it’s delicious!
Stacie @ Imperfectly Healthy
June 28, 2010 at 11:54 amI agree with all of the above! Except I own an iron and never use it! 🙂 And really, what’s the point of eating only one cookie? There’s no good in that!

June 28, 2010 at 12:07 pmThese posts are so cute!

June 28, 2010 at 12:09 pmHey, I don’t even have a water filter. And I drink from the hose when I water our plants. True story.

That is such a cute photo of you, too! 🙂
I agree with the wine & cookies – but I couldn’t live without my iron!
Evelyn @ cheers2healthy
June 28, 2010 at 12:36 pmNext step: stock up on Brita filters so you don’t push off replacing it like me : )
Kelly
June 28, 2010 at 12:47 pmI like your belief in wine. And I never ever changed a water filter until I moved in with my fiance and he bought one and did it himself, which I guess means my record still stands!

June 28, 2010 at 12:48 pmI can’t sew either, and I don’t own an iron but I’m *this close* to buying one… since I desperately need one… lol!

June 28, 2010 at 1:19 pmThat picture is adorable!
Here’s a confession: I have never ordered or tried creme brulee. I know, I know. Horrible, right? I should add it to my Life’s To Do List. 😉

June 28, 2010 at 1:39 pmI just bought an iron for the first time…because I had to for work…sigh. I’m still afraid of it every single time I use it.

June 28, 2010 at 1:44 pmWhen I was still around home, I had my dad iron stuff for me. I’m soooo bad at it. I usually end up creating more wrinkles than there were to begint with :(.

June 28, 2010 at 2:51 pmHaha I love these confessions posts!! After ages and ages, I finally changed my Brita filter too…after realizing I had a pack of them just sitting under the sink.
But I don’t know how you survive without an iron. I hate doing it and try to get away without ironing something as often as possible (I’ll wear clothes that are slightly wrinkled to work without thinking twice), but sometimes there’s no way out. …or maybe that’s just because I’m worse at putting away my clean clothes than I am at ironing them — so they sit in a wrinkled pile for days before I pull them out to wear them.
Chelsea @ One Healthy Munchkin
June 28, 2010 at 2:53 pmI fully concur that hula hooping is the best ab exercise. And hopscotch is the best cardio. 😉
I love the top you’re wearing in that picture! Where is it from? Please say you got it recently!
Lisa (bakebikeblog)
June 28, 2010 at 2:56 pmhaha I can’t sew at all either!! I think it was a trait I ‘inherited’ off my mum 😉

June 28, 2010 at 3:04 pmNever, ever stop at one cookie or one glass of wine.
Jessica
June 28, 2010 at 3:37 pmI think it is a sin to just eat one cookie or have just one glass of wine! Especially if you want more : )
I am jealous of all of the sewers out there! I can’t do it at all!!!!

June 28, 2010 at 3:44 pmLove this post! I must admit, it’s hard for me to stop at one glass of wine too!

June 28, 2010 at 5:11 pmDOWNEY WRINKLE RELEASE … next to the “Tide” in the same aisle. I will admit that I iron everything.. but this is the next best thing! And this is what my daughter uses!!!

June 28, 2010 at 6:02 pmJenna, I have to tell you that I’ve read your blog since summer 2008, and it has been so much fun to see you evolve from a fairly regimented vegan/athlete (not that there’s anything wrong with that! That’s pretty much…me.) and into someone who enjoys life and cookies and wine as much as you do. It’s awesome. You’re awesome. Consider me inspired!

June 28, 2010 at 8:01 pmI got an iron for my wedding, but I’ve never used it. I just don’t wear anything that needs ironed!
My confession: I have never had creme brulee and I’m 27. And to be honest, I have no idea what it is!

June 29, 2010 at 9:15 amI cannot sew either. Home Ec in middle school = epic fail for me.
I DO own an iron, but seem to have a mental block against using it 🙂 I knowwww dry cleaning isn’t the most economical alternative, but I seriously hate ironing!

June 29, 2010 at 9:37 amOh my goodnass! That picture of you is just beyond precious. Brings me back to my days in 3rd grade when I won the “Gifted Hula Hoop Competition” circa 1999 🙂 What can I say? I’m just baller at hoopin’. Keep on hoopin’, gorgeous lady! No shame in firming your abs via hula hooping. The 1960’s would agree with you on that, methinks.
