Thank y’all so much for your sweet comments about my hair!

I really like it. I think I shocked my date pretty good last but he seemed to like it. Apparently I look older and more mature now π
Gosh, dinner was SO GOOD last night!!!!!! For months I’ve been sort of talking down about Dry Creek Kitchen because I heard it was overrated but dang, last night’s meal was fabulous and totally proved me wrong! Right when we sat down our server brought out a tiny cup of the most amazing coconut curry soup as an amuse-bouche….I could have eaten bowls of this!

I ordered the green salad to start with caramelized goat cheese on top. Holy wow….caramelized goat cheese……enough said.

And then had the gnocchi for dinner. Probably the best gnocchi I’ve ever had!

With my meal, I enjoyed a glass of Quivera Grenache. Went perfectly with my wee potato dumplins :). We were both too full for dessert but the server brought out a little tray of sweets regardless and, obviously, I couldn’t say no!

This morning was a cold cereal morning:

And then I rushed to the studio to work the desk for a few hours. It’s gorgeous out again and I’m hoping to squeeze in a bike ride later on this afternoon!
Happy President’s Day!

February 15, 2010 at 1:28 pmJenna, can I ask you what color you did or if you did a two step process? My daughter is going to do the same, especially after seeing how adorable you look. She also has darker eyebrows and think this would look good on her too..

February 15, 2010 at 1:50 pmYou look awesome as a brunette! I think brunettes do have more fun…but then I’m brunette so…yeah. I have a random question for you…how did you learn to ‘flip your dog.” I’ve been practicing yoga more seriously in the past year, but that one still throws me all out of whack!

February 15, 2010 at 1:54 pmhello, you look HOT with your new hair! really, you look so great brunette. =)
Sarah (Running to Slow Things Down)
February 15, 2010 at 1:59 pmLove the new ‘do! Brunettes have way more fun.
And, might I add, you’re so brave to drastically change a color. I can remember battling it out with myself over whether I should add in highlights to my hair. I didn’t actually end up doing it because I was way too chicken at the time.
I think I’ll use you as my inspiration for the next time around. π

Do you have any idea how they caramelized the goat cheese? Wouldn’t it melt if they’d put it in a frying-pan or in the oven? I would love to try it at home…
