Breakfast

Day of Rest?

Happy Sunday!

I actually have to work on this glorious Sunday but have tomorrow off…it’s going to be my mission to find a yoga studio. Hopefully working on Sundays won’t become a pattern because I’d love to find a church here….I miss mine back home a whole lot.

Anyways, this morning I finally made the PERFECT cup of coffee! I bought a larger french press from Target yesterday because the tiny one cup one that I had been using was just leading to messy disasters.

IMG_8305

I’m officially addicted. I don’t think I’ll ever use a coffee maker again….french press is where it’s at.

Plus oatmeal (soymilk, oats, banana, cinnamon, pumpkin butter, almond butter, mmmmmm)

So I found out yesterday that I definitely have 1 month to find a new place to live. I’m pretty bummed, not going to lie. I LOVE this place and this is the first “bad” thing that’s happened out here. Everything was going so smoothly…I should have knocked on wood a little more. As for now, it’s back to Craigs List and I’m just praying something works out. As much as I adore this little place, I guess it just wasn’t meant to be. Sad!

Time to shower and get ready for WORK! Enjoy your Sunday!

I am all about living by the words “everything happens for a reason.” When I first moved out of the dorms and into my own apartment, I had moved in with my two best friends. Let’s just say two weeks later I moved into a small studio apt by myself after my parents got involved and threatened the two girls with changing the locks if they didn’t sign me off the lease. It is a long story but what I thought was going to be the best living situation ever, turned into a nightmare as they were NOT respectful of me, my belongings, and my needs. They also turned into MAJOR b!tches after I moved out and spread the nastiest rumors about that were completely untrue. I was so hurt, but I learned some very valuable lessons from the whole mess-and-a-half. You might not know why you aren’t guna be living in the cute attic for the entire year, but for some reason or another, you are guna move out in a month and move into the place you are meant to call home! 🙂

Awww sorry you have to move. But maybe God has an even better place in mind for you and this was a quick safe haven until it was available.

I read back a few posts…don’t beat yourself up on the 6 mile run instead of 11. You really should do a low mileage day the week before your run. That’s my story! (I’m planning on 8 miles the week before my half). I think you’ll do just fine!!
