Delirious

Gah! Where am I? What time is it??!!!! It feels like 4:30 in the morning but the sun is up….I feel like I’ve entered into some strange time morph tunnel and somehow now I am in my bed, snuggling with my favorite guy and surrounded by all my books.

Wow. It’s crazy to be home!
Actually, my flights and everything were all on time yesterday and everything. I just had forgotten how far I really live. In the Dallas airport I bought my favorite travel snack of frozen yogurt with sprinkles—

And it felt so good to see both my parents waiting for me outside in Tampa! Boy, the weather is different here. I forgot what humidity feels like? Since it was 9:00 (but felt like 6:00!) my mom had a great dinner waiting for me at home with a glass of Alexander Valley cab 🙂
Salad with Annie’s dressing:

Risotto with proscuitto and pear:

I attacked my food like a crazy person. Traveling makes me so hungry!
I roamed around my room for awhile….went through some papers, re-typed some old poems I found in my closet, stared into my closet…..and then I took a tylonel pm and a bubble bath and passed out with Mikan by my side. 🙂
Don’t ask me why I thought it was an amazing idea to set my alarm for 7 am (4 am!) this morning.

Peach chobani with Kashi, banana and pom seeds.
So yeah, I REALLY wanted to go to yoga this morning and see some lovely familiar faces at my old studio. However, I don’t know how great my practice will be because I am a walking zombie. I figure I can take a nap later, in between doing my taxes and shopping at Anthropologie (do those two things go together?!).
Whewww!

It’s always disorienting the first day or so in a new time zone, even if it’s just 3 hours difference. When I moved to Korea, I fell asleep at 5pm and woke up at 2 or 3 am for the first week!
