Happy Saturday everyone!
I definitely do NOT feel my best today after all the gluttony last night! I actually didn’t sleep very well because I had a stomachache and just felt bloated all night long. I wasn’t even really hungry this morning when I woke up but knew I needed some sort of fuel before I worked out so I had the breakfast cookie I made and put in the fridge last night!
This was made with 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 tbsp chocolate peanut butter, 2 tbsp silk and 1/2 mashed banana.
I let it digest for awhile and then hit up my parent’s gym again since I have a 5 day guest pass. The gym they belong to is really nice but I plan to join a different one next month when I move home. The gym I am planning to join is about 50 feet from Ryan’s condo and has Les Mills classes so I can continue with my BodyPump! I’m pretty excited about it 🙂
I didn’t feel so hot at the gym this morning but actually had a really great workout and burned off about 350 wine calories from last night. Here’s what I did:
15 minutes running on the treadmill (6.0 speed)
3 sets of dips, 12 reps each set, body weight
3 sets of “21s” with barbell, 20 lbs
3 sets of seated row, 10 reps each set, 50 lbs
3 sets of push-ups on bosu ball, 10 reps each set
3 sets of assisted pull ups, 10 reps each set, 60 lbs assisted weight
3 sets of triceps pulldowns, 12 reps each set, 50 lbs
2 sets of lat raises on machine, 12 reps each set, 15 lbs
After the gym I stopped at Starbucks for a coffee and had a little snack before stopping by my house to say goodbye to the family since my mom has to fly out of state today for work.
I actually had my weeks all mixed up and last night realized that the wedding Ryan and I have to go to is NEXT Saturday…not in two weeks like I thought! So I’ll be making the long trek home again on Friday for the weekend it seems. Crazy that I’ll be here for good in three weeks!
