Friday! And my last day of Custards class. On monday I will travel to advanced cakes class (known fondly as “wedding cake class”) to put my cake decorating skills to use. I’m really excited about this next class! First I must get through the rest of practical tonight though and deep clean the whole class room, as we do on every last night of each class. Gag.
I didn’t go to bed especially early last night—I probably fell asleep around 12:30 or so, but I woke up at 7:00 with a little energy! Must be because I know it’s Friday =). I ate half a banana with pb, threw my uniforms in the wash, put some beans on the stove to cook, and went to the gym to do some cardio. I did 20 minutes, dividing the time between the treadmill running and the elliptical machine doing “hills”. When I got back, true to my word, I made some cold cereal for breakfast—a bowl of flax plus granola with soymilk and half a banana. Seriously, the thought of hot cereal right now just makes me want to gag. It is WAY to hot and humid outside!
For lunch I packed a hummus sandwich on sprouted wheat bread with spinach (the only veggie I have left!) and a peach. I used 1/4th cup hummus for this sandwich. It looks like it will be a little messy, probably should have used a pita instead.
Oh Annie’s Bunnies, how I love thee!
I packed some for a snack along with my last pear.
TGIF!

June 6, 2008 at 1:14 pmKelly L,
I was wondering if I could ask you a question about pilates. My email address is: christinia.p@gmail.com. Would you mind emailing me with your address?
Just to let you know I may not get to send the email today, if I don’t get a break in work. Thanks!

June 6, 2008 at 1:15 pmChopped Salad people,
I feel like I am going crazy, I looked at the Cheesecake factory menu online and they don’t list the vegetable chopped salad???
What is on this salad that makes it so great?
Here’s the site, maybe I missing it.

June 6, 2008 at 1:17 pmOh and Jenna if you think those portions are big, you have never ordered their sandwiches that come with their fries. Yes, it’s splurge but everyone deserves one sometimes 🙂 And it’s so good!

The Vegetable chopped salad is under the appetizers (instead of salads). Here’s the description from the website:
VEGETABLE CHOPPED SALAD
Asparagus, Green Beans, Tomato, Cucumber, Roasted Beets, Apple, Edamame, Radicchio, Romaine and White Cheddar Tossed with Pomegranate Vinaigrette

June 6, 2008 at 2:12 pmObviously from yesterdays response the salad seems popular. How did so many of you know to check the appetizer section for a main meal salad?
Thanks Justy.
