Greetings From Florida Part II

Ahhh I had the nicest afternoon!

Christie and I sat by the pool and relaxed:

And played fetch with Layla, Christie’s chocolate lab. She LOVES to swim!!!

I snacked on a banana with some cinnamon raisin peanut butter:

And then we went on an hour bike ride!

It was GORGEOUS outside and the breeze felt amazing. We biked from the house all the way to Cravings (the cute little bakery I always talk about) where we got some water then made a loop around a park on the river and came home. I haven’t actually been biking outside for, um, years and it was awesome. We are already planning another ride for tomorrow when I get off work. 😉

And later on I heated up this Amy’s bowl for a fast dinner before we head out to the party

I had never tried this but it was awesome! I loved the spinach filling. I would definitely buy this again!

Well, Christie and I are headed out to the employee Christmas party! See you tomorrow!

Love stuffed shells. That dinner looks good! OH, bike-riding… my arch-nemesis. I am awful at it. I get scared I’m going to fall, and then my balance goes all out of wack. Glad you had so much fun!

The stuffed shells are my FAVORITE Amy’s dish! Nothing satisfies or fills up the stomach quite like pasta with sauce and cheese does, and Amy’s does the trick for not very many calories. Loves it.

Ok – now you’re making me jealous! I just got back from walking around campus in 12F weather without factoring in the 25 mph+ wind gust!

    Have a great time tonight!

The Amy’s shells are my second fave right after the Ravioli. If you haven’t tried that yet, I highly recommend it.

OK, now I’m jealous. Of the warm weather, pool, stuffed pasta shells, but most of all the bike ride. In college, I would bike up a near by canyon and put my feet in the river while I did my homework. Ahhhh……Now, that was relaxing, and energizing.

It was 4 degrees here (but with windchill, felt like -7!) It was snowing sideways today! I’m freaking freezing here in Utah, and you’re hanging out by the pool– I can’t believe I’m missing the most beautiful part of the year in Florida!

I just found your blog recently, I’ve really been enjoying it! I thought I should leave you a comment finally… I’m totally jealous of your warm weather! Where I live we’ve been having massive snow storms, which isn’t nearly as appealing as sunshine, pretty much.
