Good afternoon!
How’s your Friday going?! I ran errands this morning and drank a lovely soy chai latte before finally giving into my hummus wrap addiction for lunch.

Ahhh reminds me of home! 🙂 Anna, my yoga instructor and friend, has been telling me that I HAVE to try East West Cafe for lunch sometime. We were lamenting over lack of hummus in wine country (she’s a vegan) and how we miss our dear hummus wraps from the east coast. Enter East West Cafe. This place is amazing! EVERYTHING on the menu looked fabulous and I would be lying if I said I didn’t really want to go back for dinner tonight..or breakfast tomorrow! They have blue corn pancakes! And tofu scramble! It’s amazing!
Okay. Calming down now. I had a divine (and VERY messy) hummus and avocado whole wheat wrap. It sort of got everywhere but was worth it…yum. Must go back asap.

Going to buckle down and write for a few hours now….in the mood to go dancing tonight. We shall seeee!

January 15, 2010 at 2:07 pmI’m still in shock by the lack of hummus in your new town. How is this possible?! I don’t think I could survive a week without hummus, seriously. I put it on everything!

January 15, 2010 at 5:01 pmHey Jenna!
I’ve been following your blog for a few months now (first time commenting though) and I must say, your yummy sandwiches are so inspiring! You made me try avocado and acorn squash, can you believe I’ve nerver had them before? I also started an introductory Ashtanga Yoga class this week, thanks to you! By the way, I’m french canadian (living in Montreal) so I’m sorry if my english isn’t perfect…
I just wanted to say that your blog had a major impact on my life. I didn’t have a good life balance (training way too much and focusing on eating healthy ALL THE TIME). Reading your posts (I went through almost all your archives… talking about obsessing, lol!) made me realize that food and training are made to have fun. You have inspired me so much that I started blogging too to try and help french readers find a similar inspiration. If you want to practice your french, feel free to stop by my blog (you’re in my blogroll, I hope you don’t mind)!
Thanks again Jenna! If I go back to San Francisco someday, I hope we can meet over a good meal or a London Fog! Have a nice day!
Jenny
