Hi bloggies! Happy Thursday! I can’t wait for tomorrow because I get to go home again for the weekend! Ryan and I have a wedding to attend Saturday…I love weddings!!!
This morning I had some pumpkin oats topped with a plethora of pom seeds to jump start my day
I used 1/2 cup multigrain cereal cooked in half hempmilk and half water. Mixed in 1/3 cup pumpkin, 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and 1 tbsp almond butter. Divine!
Earl gray tea with stevia and skim (x2)
Mid-morning I snacked on this delicious bar, warmed up of course!
And then for lunch I had leftover baked tofu—
A banana bread cookie—
And this delicious peach apple sauce that has been sitting in the fridge for way too long.
(I also had a few chocolate chips) π
Around 3:30, when I got home, I snacked on yet another banana bread cookie (love these things!) smeared with a little chocolate peanut butter
I need the fuel because I really am going to the gym today!! =)
As for work, it was craaaazy….mainly because Adam was off and I got a little overwhelmed at the last minute trying to get everything done. Sometimes, I swear I break a sweat. Gross, but true. When you are on your feet all day long it happens!
Yummy rolls:
Challah to yo momma (sorry I had to say it)
Massive amounts of apple pie filling
Even more massive amounts of mini cookies
As well as unpictured flourless chocolate cakes, brownies, almond and chocolate macaroons and tons of dough for tomorrow’s production. Phew!!
This evening I am headed to the gym to do legs (since I missed BodyPump yesterday and got out of squats and lunges!) and abs and then head to a 6 pm spinning class. I’ve actually been looking forward to this class all week because the instructor is awesome.Β She also teaches BodyPump on Mondays and she is just so incredibly motivating that it is impossible not to push yourself! She also BLASTS all the music I love, which totally makes a difference.
I’m off to fold laundry and pack for this weekend before the gym! I hope everyone is having a great Thursday…its 75 degrees here and sunny (I just had to rub it in!)! π

December 4, 2008 at 3:23 pmIf they had challah bread like that at WF’s I would so buy it! On second thought, that would be dangerous.

December 4, 2008 at 3:24 pmWhat kind of protein powder do you use?
Also- one of your sandwiches inspired me, so lately I’ve been eating this combo for lunch: Arnold double protein bread, a Laughing Cow Light cheese wedge, hummus (SABRA! that stuff is so good, it should be illegal), and sliced cucumbers and bell peppers. SO GOOD.

Glad you like the sammie combo! I have had the best results with Designer Whey brand protein powder.

December 4, 2008 at 5:44 pmHey Jenna,
Was the tea you drank this morning cold?
I notice sometimes you say you have some “hot tea” and today you just said tea and it’s in a glass, so I’m assuming that means it is cold….
Seems like an odd question, but I always thought of tea as a hot beverage so I am intrigued by this cold tea.
Enjoy spinning!

December 4, 2008 at 5:49 pm75 degrees!?! Ugh, I’m jealous as our high today was only 40, and I live in the South! Have fun spinning. Did you ever find any clip-in shoes? REI has some on sale right now.

December 4, 2008 at 7:08 pmI use to make pancakes at 5am every morning at a hotel. The grill was very hot and I definitely broke a sweat. That, and getting the rest of the breakfast salad bar ready and out for display.
I donβt know about you, but I was rarely hungry after working around food all day. Iβd get home and the last thing Iβd want to do was cook, let alone eat. Thanks for still eating healthy, and sharing all the great snack ideas. A Pure Protein snack came with my protein powder yesterday as a freebie, and it was surprisingly delicious. Iβll keep my eyes peeled for the Oatmeal Squares.
