Hi everyone!
Ryan and I have had a super packed day so far….all good stuff though! This morning I took him on a complete tour, showing him my old high school and the club where I work now. I snacked on a SCM cookie on the way….
We walked around near the ocean and then we got sandwiches from my favorite little gourmet-to-go shop. Ryan got an Italian sub and I “made my own” wrap–yum! I chose a whole wheat with hummus, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, banana peppers, pickles and jalepinos (phew!) with goat cheese. It was HUGE and deliciously messy.
Soon after, we headed out to the golf course where we met my dad. It was soo pretty outside but VERY windy, which made me very chilly! 🙂 I really didn’t play…..I just drove the cart. I hit a couple shots but that was it. I’m too impatient for golf! After the front 9, I snacked on an apple and a pure protein bar:
Despite the chilly wind, we had a great time and it was wonderful to spend the whole day outside with my two favorite guys! Here are some photo highlights 🙂
My tiger woods stroke:
I was bundled up pretty tight here. Sheer greatness, I know. After this I stuck to driving the cart and eating my snacks.
And when we got home, Ryan dug into the pumpkin whoopie pie I brought him from work!
I’ve gotta hit the showers…..the wind made a total rat’s nest out of my hair. Ryan and I are going out to a new restaurant here called The Indigo Room (sorry it doesn’t have a website!). The restaurant is in a brand new hotel on the ocean and I’ve been wanting to try it for awhile so I’m super excited! Ryan is excited too since I told him that since he drove all the way here, dinner would be my treat. Ryan better be a good date and not order the most expensive thing on the menu! haha 🙂
I’ll be back! Have a great Saturday!

November 22, 2008 at 8:19 pmHi Jenna! I’ve been reading for a while now, but this is my first time commenting. You’re one of my daily reads, thanks for sharing your experiences. I have been loving the pictures of your pumpkin whoopie pies and will be making them for Thanksgiving this week. Do you have any idea if they will keep at all? I was hoping I could make the cookies a day or two early if I do the cream and fill them on Thanksgiving. It will be tough to get oven space Thursday!
Thanks for any advice!
