Lunch

Just Dance

Helloo!

I’m having an awesome Friday and you should be too πŸ™‚

Yoga was great…..HOT! I don’t know if I’ve ever sweat so much in a power vinyasa class but it was good because we got really deep, deep into twists and holds. Lots of warrior threes, half moon to dancer poses, pigeons and head stands. I really need to focus on hydrating today, especially since I have an 8 miler in the morning!

Lunch was quick and in between conference calls at home!

Oh Amy, how I love thee.

This is one of my favorite Amy’s meals…y’all know I love my Mexican food and this is deeeelicious! I paired it with some fruit for more sustainability.

SO much hot sauce on top because we are out of salsa (the horror!)

I’m racing out the door to the store to buy ingredients to bake brownies this afternoon! I offered to bring them tonight to Created. If you are new, Created is a ministry dedicated to helping women get off the street and escape the sex trade industry. We meet on Friday nights for dinner, dessert and bible study. It’s amazing.

I leave you with an amazing quote that was shared at yoga this morning:

“Dance,

When you’re broken open.

Dance,

If you’ve torn the bandage off.

Dance,

In the middle of fighting.

Dance,

In your blood.

Dance,

When you’re perfectly free.”—Rumi

Amy’s “ethnic meals” (Mexican, Indian) are especially superb. Then again, their whole line is fantastic. The new Roasted Vegetable Tamale can be hard to find, but it’s great, too. Enjoy your (hopefully sunshine-y) baking and study… the weather in the northeast is miserable!

I’ve never had this Amy’s frozen dinner before! I am embarrassed to admit it at times, but I really don’t mind frozen dinners. Especially when work is hectic and you need to multi-task, sometimes they are the easiest thing to rely on!

I can’t wait to see what kind of brownies you cook up.

Thank you for the contageous positive attitude today, it is helping me get through work today πŸ™‚

Salsa has definitely become my condiment of choice. I actually buy the large bottle at BJ’s so that I don’t run out. I added some to my sweet potato last night with greek yogurt and avocado…taked just like mexican food. πŸ™‚

Enjoy Created tonight. I’m sure you are just as blessed as these women are for you being there. πŸ™‚

Great quote…Thanks! I would love to find a group of women to do a bible study with. I just moved to a new city and don’t know how to go about finding a group. How did you find your bible study group?

    • jenna
      September 11, 2009 at 2:12 pm

      Stephanie,

This isn’t really my bible study, it’s just a ministry I volunteer with. I found my personal bible study group through my church and we meet every other Wednesday to study and talk about prayer!

I practice Baptiste power yoga and had a super sweaty hard class but I was able to stay up in half moon the whole time on both sides, a new record, it felt amazing!
