February 19, 2014 at 4:47 amOooh yes I have It’s All Good as well and it’s one of my current fave cookbooks! Love all the photos, and just the overall clean, fresh look of it. I haven’t made many of the recipes yet (more just drooling over the thought of what they’ll taste like lol!) but I think I might do a few this weekend. 🙂

February 19, 2014 at 5:26 amLovely flowers. I’m jealous you’re wearing Toms. I was on vacation last week and now I can’t find mine. They’re somewhere between Montana and my house.

February 19, 2014 at 5:49 amAvocado toast with goat cheese, sea salt and chili sauce sounds like something I would get addicted to and eat every day! Curious question– can you get goat cheese from farmer’s markets? Come spring, I’ll be relying on them for a lot of our local produce and honey 🙂

February 19, 2014 at 6:19 ami’m not going to lie, i am bookmarking every post where you talk about maternity clothes…i don’t need them yet (come on, i’m 15 weeks, give me a bump!) and also have no idea where the good spots to buy are, so this is making me excited to get some stuff! also, goat cheese on avocado toast was one of the only things i could willingly get down in my first trimester, so much love for that meal.

February 19, 2014 at 6:44 amLoved this post – and especially love that you are soaking up all the time you can with Adam before Baby B comes. It’s a game changer and this exciting time before baby is really special. Enjoy, you two!

February 19, 2014 at 1:06 pmIt is so fun following your pregnancy posts as we are a week or so apart, both with little boys. 🙂 Bless you for craving lattes ( me too). Are you going to post pics of the nursery? Hope all continues to be well!

February 19, 2014 at 1:35 pmI’m also due in May (11th) with a boy and have enjoyed your recommendations for things your doing. I’m very excited you’re looking into cloth diapering since I am too, and will be anxiously awaiting your post on what you decide to go with :).

February 19, 2014 at 3:03 pmWe cloth diaper and love it. Little babies wearing cloth are just so cute!! It’s really not hard…just a bit intimidating with so many options!

February 19, 2014 at 4:26 pmWould love if you could post your thoughts on Goldfinch. I have heard mixed reviews and since it seems we have similar taste in books ( I get tons of ideas from your lists) I would love to hear your review!

February 20, 2014 at 10:27 amSo many good things in this post 🙂
Try fruit jam in place of the chili sauce on your avocado toast! I love the salty sweet combo!

February 20, 2014 at 3:09 pmI cloth diaper too <3 Check out Cloth Diapering 101 on YouTube and the forum on BabyCenter Community. BumGenius is definitely not the only brand out there (and personally one of my least favorites!), so check other blogs and sources too 🙂
Kristin
February 20, 2014 at 7:46 pmI cloth diaper too. I am on baby #3 in them and still using the same ones I bought with my first baby. Good for baby, your pocketbook, and the environment! 🙂

February 20, 2014 at 7:50 pmBread & Wine is seriously the most amazing book ever! Tried a couple of her recipes but need to try that flourless cake one, anything with chocolate is a must in my book. 🙂

February 21, 2014 at 11:13 amBest. Decision. Ever. for us. I used cloth diapers, fuzzibuns on my baby
and it was easy! They have the cutest colors and
once you get in a routine, it’s a snap! I loved
seeing the rainbow of colors drying on the
clothesline!

February 21, 2014 at 1:18 pmWe cloth diaper, too, and, based on YHL, bought Bum Genius. Not to throw a wrench in plans you may have, but I have been so disappointed. Our diapers have shredded to bits after only about 10 months of use. Not sure how they get away with having only 12, because you definitely have to wash them every single day if you have only 12, and I’m assuming that is why ours have fallen apart. Major bummer. I now have the old school prefolds from Green Mountain Diapers with Eco Bum covers. So much cheaper

February 21, 2014 at 1:22 pmLove these posts Jenna.
May I ask how much coffee you typically drink in a day? I love a black coffee with cream frothed on top and have about 1-2/day…it’s a hard (expensive) habit to break!

February 22, 2014 at 9:48 pmWe cloth diaper and love it. Saving the planet, and looking cute while doing it. I will say this, just to show how everyone is different when it comes to preferences and fit with your baby, etc. we bought BumGenius and LOVE them. Their Freetimes and 4.0 diapers are half of our stash. We also love totsbots, Ella Bella Bums (you have to check them out. They are THE cutest diapers made and come from Canada!)…My diaper stash has definitely evolved over the past year, but one thing that I heard when I started was to try a rental kit so that you can see what works on your wee one and what doesn’t. For example, BumGenius fits better, earlier, on babies with chunky legs. Also – don’t be afraid to buy used cloth diapers. Especially when you’re trying to decide what you like. There are a ton of swap sites on Facebook. There’s also a program called VarageSale and they have a north american cloth diaper swap. Enjoy:)

February 24, 2014 at 10:47 amAre you liking the Goldfinch? I just finished reading it and I found it really disappointing. I thought that it was way too long and I really never got into it.

February 25, 2014 at 5:04 pmI sort of have a love/hate relationship with it. I’m a little more than halfway through and there have been a few times where I’ve wanted to put it down…but I really want to stick it out and make it till the end. I thought I’d never get through the Las Vegas part! SO long. It’s definitely different than what I anticipated…and it’s not my favorite.

February 24, 2014 at 5:21 pmI love Baby Catcher. I’ve read it with each pregnancy, and I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant with my 5th child and getting ready to read it again.

February 24, 2014 at 8:26 pmI found the YHL info on cloth nappies (Australian here) so helpful. 2 years in using Bum Genius and I’ve never regretted it. Freetime have been much easier for us to use than the 4.0s but can’t complain about either. Have always used a disposable overnight though. For no particular reason other than I than it became a habit. I also use disposables if we’ll be out for a while despite my good intentions to carry around a dirty cloth nappy and clean cloth nappies and my homemade cloth wipes etc etc. Planetwise bags have been brilliant too. Good luck. It’s gross but you will be amazed at how second nature it becomes.

March 1, 2014 at 11:15 pmYES!! Target maternity tops/tanks are the best! So surprisingly soft and comfy. Love seeing your cute little belly here and there on instagram 🙂
