Hey, hey!
Hope your Friday is going well. It’s so gloomy outside and its making me sleepy! I did get a rental car though and that makes me happy because now I can go to yoga tonight for “Zen & Zin” (an hour power yoga class followed by a wine tasting!). Midmorning I snacked on an apple and ran a bunch of errands on foot. Lunch was a big salad with lentils, avocado, hummus and flat bread with a grapefruit on the side:

Love me some juicy grapefruit!!!
I actually did lay down for 45 minutes to rest my brain, so to speak. When I got up I made some peanut butter toast and got back to work:

I’m going to write for another two hours and then head to the studio! Hope y’all are having a good day!

March 5, 2010 at 3:43 pmHi Jenna!
I read in your last post that you were going to move back to the south (FL I suppose) Maybe we can finally meet up. I tried to meet up with you when you lived in orlando but you were always in Tampa (my home town!) when I was free. I have been to San Fran once and loved it but I definitely thought I would miss the hot sunny florida weather and beaches ๐ you just cant beat the way the bright sunshine makes you feel.
You and Kath inspired me to start a blog. I’d be honored for you to check it out: http://www.eatpaintsweat.com/
If you have the time between the million things you do let me know what you think ๐

March 5, 2010 at 4:47 pmAre those the TJ’s lentils? I love those things. Throw them in anything salads, stews, soups, etc. So easy to incorporate in meals. Your salads have looked amazing lately (but they always do, come to think of it).
Enjoy Zen and Zin, sounds like fun!

March 5, 2010 at 5:32 pmYay for a rental car! It was a crummy day in Boston, too. Blah. Spring needs to get here ASAP.

March 5, 2010 at 6:47 pmYour life of writing sounds so hard and so great at the same time! I’ve been reading your blog for a little while, but I’ve never read about the subject of the book you’re writing? What’s it about?

March 5, 2010 at 7:29 pmDid you read that article in the New York Times about a month ago, titled “When Chocolate and Chakras Collide” ? It explored the new yogi trend of appreciating fine food along with the practice. Sounds like Cali has caught the trend!

March 6, 2010 at 2:35 amJust reading this and your second last post and wanna say this:
I admire you a lot! You’ve taken a risk and gone to California and had a great time. But you also listened to your heart and decided to go back in a while. That’s great and I’m so glad you’re living your life to the fullest and listening to yourself at the same time!
And a trip to Europe is great, you will be close to me!:)

March 6, 2010 at 8:37 amHey Jenna!
We are big fans and just happen to be in Healdsburg on a wine road trip from Bend, OR. I know it’s last minute, but if you are around this weekend (working at the winery?) we’d love to meet you for coffee/or a glass of vino. We too are en route moving to the East Coast after several years out West.
Cheers!

March 6, 2010 at 9:42 amI really wish we had a TJ’s around here… but of course, living in France, that’s more or less impossible. They really don’t know what’s good around here, hehe. Just kidding! We do have some delicious food and good shops, but I really miss things like PBJ sandwiches, show that to a Franch guy, you’re sure to have a blast just looking at his face! (actually, just showing him the peanut butter jar would do that).
Anyway, where exactly are you going in Europe? If you can, go to Amsterdam, it’s one of my favorite cities in the world ๐
Good lukc with your book, I can’t wait for you to finish it so I can read it!

Some of my writer friends from grad school live there now, so let me know if you want me to hook you up with them– they’re CofC creative writing alums as well ๐

March 6, 2010 at 4:21 pmRain is always needed, but I agree.. it’s time for the sun to come out again! It has been gloomy on and off for far to long!
