One More Try

Y’all, I’m so sorry. I should have been more descriptive when I told you who won the Magic Bullet Giveaway last night. This contest was run a little differently than how I normally do things because I wasn’t picking the winners, the company was. So that being the case, let’s go through this again and I apologize.

The winners are:

Sorry!!! Can the winners please send me one more email with their mailing address today? I hate how confusing this has become.

Anyways, breakfast!

All I wanted was COLD cereal this morning so I finished off the box of the TJ’s protein cereal + some H2H + a small banana and the rest of the 2% milk that I bought for my puddin’ yesterday.
I’ve also drank about nine cups of this:

And I’m happy to say I’m feeling much better today! Still congested but so much better than yesterday.
Good thing, because this is what I have to deal with:

I hate moving. How in the world did I move to California with just two suitcases and now eight months later I have enough stuff to fill a large u-haul?
Pray for my sanity.

    Hi Jenna!

Best of luck with your move. Would love to see some pics of your new pad ….hope you will give us all a “tour” once settled in.(I have this weird fixation with apartments…I love seeing pics of them.Possibly from all my apartment hunting woes….at least now I have a lovely old Victorian flat with a balcony although a but pricey!)

Wishing you lots of happy times in this next apartment 😉

What is so funny to me about your picture is that my apartment looks ten times worse than that and I have not been sick or traveling!!
I have a huge battle in my head every night “do I clean or do I paint?” b/c I actually make money from painting and have deadlines I opt to paint but I think it is getting out of control.

I started my blog to try to help myself “stay on track” b/c my nutrition and fitness were suffering b/c of my painting now it seems my cleaning/laundry is suffering! ahhhh how to fit it all in is the real question!!

How does Dexter do with moves? Obviously pretty well, since I think he’s moved as much as you have the last couple of years.

I can relate. I went to Italy with 1 suitcase and came home 8 months later with 2 suitcases over the weight limit, a 150 lb box of books and gifts, and countless items left behind.

It is amazing how easy it is to accumulate so much STUFF!

Good luck packing up and moving!!!!!!

Moving sucks…and I may be going that route myself…I shouldn’t let it cause me stress and look at it differently – but it’s expensive to move and time-consuming and hard on your own. Good luck! and congrats to those winners.

Moving can make any sane person go nuts. I feel overwhelmed for you. And ya know what? I just grows every time you move. Just when you thought you had nothing more to keep. It’s insane. Good luck!!

Didn’t you fill your car with stuff and had it sent to Cali when you moved? Maybe you are only remembering the suitcases you physically brought with you on the plane. In that case, you haven’t accumulated that much.

Are you planning on getting furniture at the new place?

I am moving back home this summer. I have been living overseas for 5 years. Other than clothes the only things I own here are a scooter and a TV. Both of which I’m going to sell. I’m still dreading packing up 5 years of my life into two suitcases. Good luck to you with your packing. 🙂

I just wanted to share this article, which talks about a recent study on eating a vegetarian diet, in regards to your Organics article.

    http://www.grist.org/article/Industrial-meat-comes-with-antibiotics-and-endocrine-disruptors

The chemicals, hormones, antibiotics, etc. go straight from the food into our bodies. This is especially true for animal products. It’s pretty scary stuff, really. You are what you eat.

I’m probably one of those weirdos who actually likes moving. I think it can be kind of exciting…I always look forward to setting up my stuff in the new place and discovering my new neighborhood. It’s sort of refreshing for me, like a clean slate. But I’m also one of those weirdos who likes change. And I also love getting rid of stuff so when I move it’s an excuse to purge. Of course the actual packing and hauling parts aren’t my favorite…

It always takes moving to realize how much “stuff” I accumulate! It just makes me digusted too, when I end up donating or throwing out a ton of stuff. All the “stuff” represents my hard earned money! I like the pictures of your cat–they always make me smile.

I think I’ve moved approximately the same amount of times you have this past year, and right now, I’m living out of two suitcases. but somehow, in the past month I’ve accumulated two more boxes worth of stuff.
