Morning!
I cannot seem to get myself going this morning….but its Saturday so I’m fine with it! We ended up getting totally sucked in to “County Jail Miami” on the Discovery Channel last night (I know big Friday night plans, huh?!) and didn’t get to bed until midnight. Ryan left around 6 this morning to go fishing and I “slept in” till 7:30. It felt great!
Breakfast was a toasted Ezekiel english muffin with raw almond butter (probably about 1.5-2 tbsp) and raspberry preserves with watermelon—

And Tazo apricot white 🙂

After I ate I went back to bed! Well I didn’t actually fall asleep, but I read for an hour with my tea. It felt soooo amazing. Reading in bed in the morning is one of my favorite things to do and it was just so relaxing.
Its gorgeous outside and I’m about to head to the gym to do the elliptical then go outside to swim some laps and lay by the pool.
See you for lunch!

June 13, 2009 at 9:32 amI’m so jealous. I woke up to pouring down rain. So much for my long run today. Sometimes I really hate the midwest!

June 13, 2009 at 10:32 amJenna,
I tried freezzing my banana for my smoothie yesterday. I loved the end product. It was smoother than a room temperature banana and ice. But I had trouble geting the peel off. I ended up scraping the skin off bit by bit. It was messy, frustrating, and time consuming. How do you freeze and peel your bananas?
Thanks!

June 13, 2009 at 1:44 pmI have got to try those Ezekiel EM! Are they really grainy or hard? I used to buy Thomas Whole Wheat EM, but didn’t really like how thin they were and am looking for a new brand that is a bit thicker and more filling.
Have a wonderful Saturday!

June 13, 2009 at 3:24 pmHeather,
Ezekiel muffins are perhaps the word’s perfect food. I ADORE them. They are thick and hearty and sooo healthy….8 grams of protein per muffin, too! I highly recommend them!
Faith,
I honestly don’t know! I can can ask my mom tonight. She is the kitchen guru!
