Pumped Out and Ready for Bed

Hi everyone!

I was sooo tired going into BodyPump tonight but actually feel quite revived now! The class was great (even though it was only 6 people tonight!) and I felt confident enough to increase my weight from Monday…..it’s crazy that I’ve only been doing this class for a week and I already can feel results. I don’t know about you, but I just love knowing I have a strong body! I got there a little early again and warmed up with about 15 minutes on the elliptical and 5 minutes walking on the treadmill.

When I got home I threw together another super speedy dinner….I promise I will eat more interesting things over the weekend! I heated up my favorite Amy’s California veggie burger and stuffed it in a whole wheat pita with about 2 tbsp Sabra’s spicy hummus, a light laughing cow cheese and a ton of spinach.

It was deeelicious (and quite messy!) and I inhaled it in about 3 minutes.

Not even 30 minutes later, I had a half cup of Nature’s Path pumpkin granola (finished off the bag!) with silk light vanilla

I’m in serious wind-down mode over here because I really want to be IN BED at 8:45, seeing as my alarm will go off at 4:45. I’m thinking a hot bubble bath and some reading are definitely called for.

I’m pretty much packed up and the next time I will be blogging will be tomorrow evening from MY HOME!!!!!!!! If I leave work on time at 2 pm I should get in around 4:45. Then it’s wine and turkey, baby. Wine and turkey……. oh yeah, and sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce, green beans and bread pudding—all made by my mommy :).

Usually my family will go over and celebrate Thanksgiving at Ryan’s parent’s house since they have a big group of about 20 that gather there, but this year since I’m rushing in and won’t be in til’ late afternoon, my mom is just preparing a low key dinner at home for my dad, brother and I. I can’t wait =)

I wish everyone that is traveling tonight or tomorrow safe travels and a happy early Thanksgiving!!!!

jenna, have a wonderful time with your family and then with R. You are a very loved girl and so enjoy those sweet taters and fixins! I love your outlook on life, it’s obvious you love the Lord, your family, and friends. Lots to be thankful for!

I am having turkey and fixins made by my mom too! I teach a Turkey Yoga class in the AM (should be fun, 90 minutes and 16 girls are signed up wootwoot!) and then onto moms with hub and daughter for turkey, football, and NAPS. I love naps. 🙂 xoxo

Hey Jenna. Happy Thanksgiving. This is kinda random, but how does the chocolate pb compare to nutella? I was thinking about trying it. Thanks!

butterjessfly – In my opinion, the choco PB and nutella are completely different! I love nutella but admittedly, it can get sickeningly sweet. The choco PB definitely isn’t as sweet and you can definitely taste the PB. I would compare nutella to chocolate pecan pie, you can definitely taste the nuts (hazelnuts in nutella’s case), but the sugar is definitely the main attraction. In the choco PB, both flavors compliment each other.
