Used 1/3 cup oats, 1 T chia, 1/3 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup Oikos, 1 banana, almond butter, cinnamon and agave. I miss my pumpkin!

Headed to bootcamp class later this morning and also going to really force myself to make some progress with the book. I’m SO close to hitting my halfway point (25,000 words) and I think today is going to be the day!

    Hi Jenna-

Quick question. How long did you rest your ankle before starting up yoga? I broke my toe over the weekend and it broke at my foot so I’m super limited in what I can do right now. But I’m dying for some exercise here!!! 🙂 Do you have any thoughts?
    THANKS! Jenn

I wake up at 8 these days, I am slowly working my way back to hopefully a nice 6 a.m. wake up, getting an early start to my day always makes me feel so much better! Did you always get up super early or did you work your away to that schedule?

Congrats with the book.. I am just curious as to how you are able to keep up a decent living out in CA right now, especially with the winery in off-season. I guess the blog is providing a decent chunk of income?

Not trying to pry, just honestly curious.

      Beth,

When a publishing company buys your book, they cut the author an advance check to live on while they write the manuscript…that’s how. I also am very fortunate enough to be able to support myself by blogging and writing freelance.

      Catriona,

I prefer power vinyasa because, to me, ashtanga gets repetitive and I feel like I get a better workout with Baptiste (power vinyasa).

Hi Jenna, I love your blog and read it every day. You always have a way of making me feel more positive. I was wondering, I regularly take bikram yoga (about 3 times a week) and was thinking of starting power vinyasa or adhtanga as a complement about once a week (all I can afford sadly). What kind do you think would complement bikram better?

hey, also, i saw from your FAQ that you used to live in France. where? when? it would be great to talk about french food with someone. your “frenchwomen don’t get fat” advice is interesting(i agree with most of it, but not all. but to each her own!)–I was thinking about doing a post on the “french paradox” & would love your input.

anyway, glad you enjoyed france. i really enjoy your blog
