Hi everyone!
I’ve been a busy bee this morning. First off, the gym. I did the elliptical for 20 minutes and then resumed my treadmill walking for another 20. I was so upset when I saw the steam room wasn’t working–I had been totally banking on a nice, hot steam this morning! 🙁
After the gym I got ready for a little photo shoot I was doing this morning. No details on anything yet! It’ll come, I promise! 😉
On the way, I grabbed what might possibly be the new love of my life: a Starbucks soy london fog latte. SO GOOD!!!!
I didn’t get home until 12:30 and threw together a quick but yummy lunch!
Amazing leftover rosemary bread from Fleming’s last night, a Morningstar Farm’s pizza burger topped with goat cheese, cherries and honeydew melon. Holy yum!
For dessert, I tried another one of Julia’s creations—this time the carob-cocoa cookie!
I stopped at my parent’s house to pick up “my” new surfboard, aka my brother’s short board. We are taking it, along with Ryan’s long board, to Vero tomorrow for the memorial!
God, it was just so weird. There still was sand on the board from the last time John went out surfing with his friends. Totally made me think just how short life really is. You just never know when you time is up, I guess. Seems like just yesterday he was dragging this board everywhere with him…..
I’m off to catch up on work! See you in a bit!
