Just made a quick breakfast before going to yoga! I sandwiched together 2 kashi heart to heart waffles with 1 tbsp peanut butter and had it with an orange and a yogurt. Sandwiching together these waffles with peanut butter is one of my favorite combos, and something I have been doing since high school. If you have never tried you need to! They are also really good with some jam in there and sliced banana. Sort of like a hot, crusty pb&j. Yum!
Off to yoga class 🙂
This breakfast was about 421 calories.

I don’t know if you have a Trader Joe’s in your area…but while grocery shopping there yesterday for my dorm room, I found a traderjoe’s brand of greek yogurt with a honey flavor. They come in pretty small containers and are fat free and pretty low in sugar, so they make a nice addition to breakfast. Might be something to check out if you have a trader joe’s around

January 13, 2008 at 3:57 pmI enjoy the nut-butter & banana combination on waffles as well – I highly recommend blending 2-3 Tablespoons of nut-butter with 1 banana, in a food processor, until completely smooth (basically, it should have a thick “pudding-like” consistency). Then, you drizzled spoonfuls of the silky-smooth pudding onto waffle-segments; and thanks to the little grooves on the waffles, you don’t have to worry about the pudding splattering everywhere when you took a bite, since the pudding dripped down into those grooves. It’s divine!!
