Three Birds

Hello everyone!

Well I’m all dressed up (still not feelin’ too hot but oh well) and ready to go to the wedding. I bought a new dress at Zara and that helped me feel better!! I thought I could wear it tonight, New Years Eve AND to Caitlin’s wedding in a few weeks, so I killed three birds with one stone! And it’s super cute…pictures to come tonight ๐Ÿ˜‰

I didn’t need a morning snack today—my appetite is still not normal because I don’t feel like myself. Ryan and I did go out to California Pizza Kitchen for lunch though, which is one of my favorites! I ordered my a half order of favorite salad, the Mediterranean Salad with grilled shrimp:

I love this salad because a huge pile of hummus is hiding below all the greens! It’s so delicious and you hardly need any dressing at all because of it. I ate it all plus most of Ryan’s pizza crusts ๐Ÿ˜‰ To drink, I had hot earl gray tea!

Such a lovely little presentation. I used a stevia that I had in my purse though to sweeten the tea. =)

The wedding we are going to is at 3:30 with a big reception to follow at the nicest hotel in St. Pete—the Venoy. I’m pretty excited because I’ve never been to the Venoy before and I’ve heard its absolutely breathtaking. Since it is at 3:30 though, hopefully we will get home early and I can get another good night of sleep to catch up and keep on feelin’ better. I’ll probably bring a snack to have before the wedding starts and then I’m sure there will be tons of good food at the reception. A glass (or two) ofย  red wine can’t hurt my congested head, right?!

Have a great afternoon and I’ll see you tonight!

I always feel like I shouldn’t go to CPK b/c NYC has so many other amazing restaurants, but whenever I do, I always like it! The veggie pizza w/ goat cheese and honey wheat crust is my fav.

My sister in law got married at the Vinoy! So insanely beautiful! They belong to the club there, and it is very classy =) Her husband saw Barack Obama and Ty Pennington (from ABC’s Home Makeover) working out there…anyways, hope you have a wonderful time, just wanted to share!
