Breakfast

Timing is Everything

Friday!

Hope its a good one for everyone. My Fridays aren’t really “Fridays” in all sense of the word these days…and I like it like that. I could never handle a 9-5 job Monday-Friday sitting a desk…I’d go crazy! I’m usually going to be working Saturdays at the winery, but my stable day of rest from all jobs in Sunday.

This morning I was planning on doing yoga again but realized I just didn’t have enough time. The only *tiny* downfall with living on the west coast is that you really only have a brief window of connecting with the east coast during the workday. I have to handle some things first thing when I wake up because if I wait until I get off work around 6:00, that’s 9:00 their time and on a Friday night…yeah…;) I have a list of to-dos for this morning with errands to run as well… so no yoga. However, I am fully planning on lighting candles and unrolling my mat for a podcast tonight after I get off work. Something to look forward to!

Oats!

IMG_8578

So satisfying. I used 1/2 cup 5-grain cereal, 1/2 cup soymilk, 1/2 cup water, 1 HUGE banana, almond butter and maple syrup!

Busy, busy day ahead of me….but a gorgeous day! I have totally 100% fallen in love with Northern California weather….

I remember when I was in Colorado for a week and had to make my schedule around the schedules of everyone back east. It meant for early days for me.

But at least you are loving what you do…that makes all the difference.

Yeah, Fridays aren’t really Fridays for me either since I work weekends. I never mind working Saturdays since it’s always this awesome energy at work . . . but I’ve never been crazy about the Sundays, good thing I don’t have to work those quite as much.

hehe that’s almost how I feel about all the “east-coast blogs”. By the time I wake up to catch up on their morning blogs, they’re onto their mid-day posts. And then when I’m going to bed/posting an end of the day recap – they’re all sleeping!! hehe

I’m currently debating if I should haul my butt outdoors in the cold (but crisp) air for a run or haul it to the gym instead for a (self-pace) no-pressure Spin bike…decisions…my quads and calves feel ti-r-e-d and sore…but I don’t know if I’m copping out (again :(…just wrote a blog about it actually…SO IF ANYONE CARES TO CHECK IT OUT AND PROVIDE MUCH NEEDED ADVICE, IT’S LOVED AND APPRECIATED!! Love all you bloggers here and can’t wait to check more of you out – and add you to my Rolls – if you don’t mind please 🙂
Have a good Friday – I’m starting Yoga Teacher Training tonight…and am beyond nervous (and a little nauseous….)

Looks you got settled in and into the groove right away. What a great life you’re leading!

I understand the “small window of time.” We’re 14 hours ahead of the east coast (where all my friends and family are) so most skype/phone calls end up being midnight my time!
