Breakfast

Woop Woop Election Day!

Good morning my lovlies!

Thank you all so very very much for all your kind and supportive words last night. I’m just going through some things right now and, while I can’t really talk about everything publicly on the internet for the entire world to read (duh), know that everything is fine and nothing will be effecting the blog! I’m just learning more and more each day about the woman God has intended me to be. It’s all good!

Anyways! it’s ELECTION DAY!!!!!!! I hope each of you get out there to cast your vote. It’s such an amazing right we take advantage of but, really, your voice does matter!

This morning even though I don’t have to work til’ noon, I still woke up at 6 am. Darn body clock!!!!! It’s okay though since I have things to get done this morning before work. I ate an early breakfast of 1 cup oikos and 1 cup nature’s path pumpkin granola topped with a plethora of pom. seeds!:

Today is a day where I would normally run. But I’m not. Even this morning, both my shins/lower legs were so sore getting out of bed I limped! Yikes. Mental note to listen to my body and do what it say. I think it says that when my food digests I should go to the gym and do the elliptical while watching the Today show! At least I think that’s what its saying 😉

Have a great morning yall, I’ll be back after lunch before I leave for work!

    Jenna,
Doesn’t it seem the “pruning” process is painful, but then we come out more beautiful, ready to keep growing, than before 🙂
    Have a lovely day!
    Thanks for blogging!

have a great day Jenna! I think you are amazing. I can’t run more than once or twice a week max because I have osguislaughter(wow I butchered that!) haha on both of my knees and I’ve had it since I was about 10 from being muscular so i do the elliptical most days and i find its a great workout!! No worries girl

    Hi Jenna,
A coworker of mine is a competitive runner and suffers from bad shin splints, so she sees a podiatrist and gets orthotics specially molded to her feet. It’s a bit expensive (a few hundred dollars) but keeps her running (she just did the NY Marathon in under 3 hrs!). I completely respect your decision to stop running for now (and totally understand if you don’t want to lay out the $ for orthotics) but just know that there is hope, in the future, if you want to run pain-free.
Until then, GO YOGA!! I studied yoga in India for awhile and sincerely think it is one of the most nurturing and holistic things you can do for your body.

We all have our different storms that we go through, sometimes it can get really trying, but God does so much and if your heart is focused on Him (which it seems to be) you’ll just be put in the refiner and come out all the more pure and shaped how He designed you to be. 🙂

Hope you are feeling better today! I know what a rollercoaster ride can be like in life (I’ve had so many ups and downs that I could make even the most experienced roller coaster rider ill..) but with all that i know im in the place now where im supposed to be and that is giving me a great sense of peace.. so i hope you are getting that feeling now and will continue to grow and feel that same peace!!

just try and learn and grow because of what you’re going through..this too shall pass my dear:)
don’t worry about not running-there’s plenty of other excersises (woot swimming & yoga) that can be subbed for it. if you love just being outside and getting that runners high, you could try biking and just increase your mileage.
also, i remember a few months ago you said that you wouldn’t feel very good after eating dairy..do you still get this intolerance?
    have an awesome day!!!
