My brother-in-law and his wife live in a high rise on the lake, just a short distance from the water tower, pictured. I also must say… the first trip my now-husband and I took together back in January 2008 (when we’d been dating 3 weeks!) was to Chicago, from New England. And that weekend, it was the coldest it had been in 2 years. I think that cold really brought us together! We stayed in the hotel room a lot more….
