I thought since it’s Monday and all, y’all might be able to use another sweet dessert to get through the mid-afternoon slump.
These are every bit as gooey, fudgy and delicious as they look, and instantly were deemed “the best brownies EVER” when I brought them to my church group last week.
They would be the perfect Valentine’s Day treat (and yes, I plan to bake them again next week)!
Hop on over to The Tasty Kitchen Blog to see my step-by-step photo recipe post. I’m thrilled to now be a contributor in such a passionate and enthusiastic cooking commmunity!

These certainly look like the best brownies ever!
Super gooey brownies are the best!
oh WOW. tasty tasty!! headed to tasty kitchen blog now
Woo hoo!!!! Congratulations on the Tasty Kitchen spot. I’m so glad your awesome recipes will now reach even more people.
thank you!
Oh man anything with “salted” in the title gets me every time. These look amazing!
Salted brownies?! Yes PLEASE!! I love how gooey they look!
Congrats on joining the TK contributor community! I am so excited to start seeing you over there!
And, those brownies look phenomenal. And I would go bake them right now, if I hadn’t JUST finished making a batch of Trifecta Cookies…
trifecta cookies?! Sounds sublime!
Hi, I’m Evan and I’m a brownieholic.
Hi Evan. I’m Jenna and I like to fatten people up.
I knew IT!! You’re pretty good at your job. Not gonna lie…
Oh my–maybe you should open an online bakery so we can all buy your treats??
Those brownies look like they are literally beyond moist. (and i hate that word but there is no other word for those!) Or maybe underbaked….but seriously they look amazing. Beyond delish!
I need to have those. Now!
Thanks for teasing me
I hate that word too!!! Adam and I were just laughing about that the other day. Sometimes you just gotta say it though! And yes, these brownies are (gulp) super moist.
I have yet to meet someone that likes the word “moist.” At first I thought I was a weirdo because of it, but then I found out a bunch of other people hate it too (so I suppose I’m a weirdo for other reasons, eh?)
Moral of the story? The brownies look deliciously lubricated. Okay. That’s even worse. They look great
OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you send me a couple now please? Or a dozen?!!
In the “old days” I never would have wanted to try this…but I recently had some dark chocolate truffles with sea salt and they were A-MAZING!
sea salt makes everything better!
those look amazing!!
sweet heavens… These look incredible
MM I love anything that adds a little salt with sweet. I can’t get enough of those Salted Caramel Hot Chocolates from Starbucks! I will definitely have to try these.
I just saw these on Tasty Kitchen and fell in love with the pics. I actually have everything I need to make them too! I hope to surprise the boyfriend with them for Valentine’s Day
Congrats on Tasty Kitchen! I can’t wait to see more of your submissions.
I will definitely be making these for my valentine! Thank you for sharing!
Jenna!! Lol stop making these ridiculously amazing things! I’m trying to diet here! But seriously keep making them.. I’ve already made the Oh Baby Bars and they were a hit. =D
hahahaha but it tastes so goooooood
Yeah, that’s the problem!! lol
You know when you quickly open your eyes so wide that your contacts almost fall out? That just happened when I saw the brownies.
lol! I love it! (that happens to me all the time)
Congrats Jenna, that is so exciting! And these look amaaazing. I love Lindt’s dark chocolate with sea salt so I will absolutely be making these– thanks for passing the recipe along!
These look amazing! A little salt with sweet does so much to bring out the flavors! Sadly, my husband doesn’t like chocolate (crazy, I know), so I might just have to make these and give them out to passerby on the street.
These look incredible! I want to make them and bring them with me to an event on Friday night but am swamped all week! Do you think if I make them on Wednesday night they will still taste yummy on Friday?
Yep! Just bake ‘em and throw them in the fridge. They’ll keep for a few days there! Remember to bring to room temperature though before serving!
So happy to have you on board at Tasty Kitchen. Great first post!
thank you, Maria! And happy belated birthday!
sea salt and brownies. dear lord. you are the woman!
ooooh these look wonderful!
And congrats!!
Drooling…
i saw the TK post…beautifully done! i know i could use some chocolate right about now…
YAY! Tasty Kitchen Contributor! Goooooo you! And those brownies look terrible.
Oh. My gosh. Making these. Bringing them to the boyf’s this weekend. There might be a ring after this. I’ll let you know.
DIVINE!
1) These brownies look dangerously outrageously super good – must make ASAP! 2) Congrats on the Tasty Kitchen Contributer gig – so exciting!!! Your recipes have definitely got me back in the kitchen cooking & baking and I’m the happier for it.
Wow. Those look crazy-good! Sea salt and chocolate could be the best combo ever…Have you ever had the dark chocolate, sea salted caramels that they sell at Whole Foods? Unbelieveable…
I literally just drooled all over my keyboard….YUM.
Dark chocolate + sea salt is probably the best combination in the world. When you add gooey brownies to the mix….oh man…
I hate the taste of salt (I’m now officially the weirdest person ever), but I’m DOWN for brownies!
These look absolutely amazing (saw them on TK this morning as well!) Congrats on your new gig
Oh, hey, hips. Let’s you and me get to know each other a bit better over these brownies…
Oohh, these look fantastic!!! Chocolate and salt are the perfect pairing!!
Oh, wow – wow.wow.wow. These look incredible.
Woah. They look so divine and fudgy. And salted! I love chocolate and salt. Especially together.
oh my gosh. those brownies look so decadent. i love my brownies extra gooey and chocolatey- so i can only imagine how amazing those are! and the salt… ! the look of them reminds me of barefoot contessa’s peanut butter swirl brownies…those had to cool for 1 hour in the fridge too. it was so tough to be patient and wait!
Those look absolutely perfect, I have always struggled to find a good brownie recipe that’s fudgy and cakey – and these look just right! Can’t wait to try them!
It’s like you created the perfect dessert just for ME! I love salted desserts. Like the Lindt with sea salt- I am now an addict upon your recommendation (except, weirdly, I can only find it at Walgreens, of all places). I will definitely be making these!
These look freaking fantastic! They almost look raw in the last photo- I mean that in a good way. Mmmm chocolate.
Okay Jenna…where the heck is mine? You are such a tease!!! lol! Those are fudgiest looking brownies I have ever seen! I wish I could reach through my computer screen and eat one of these!!! Yummmo!
They look so good and sodium-filled!
Yum!
They look so delicious! The addition of sea salt, genius!
You are on a baking roll! I love it! I love the combination of chocolate & salt…LOVE IT!!!
These look wonderful, thanks! A little salt can go a long way for desserts!
I think I might have dreams of these brownies! The salt on top looks so pretty
pretty much the best brownies I have ever seen. WOW!
Congrats on your Tasty Kitchen spot- I loveee all the recipes on that site.. including these brownies now! When I was little, I always used to sprinkle salt on my brownies which I’m pretty sure my mom thought was crazy, but I’m glad to see someone else relates.
Yummy! I love anything salty with chocolate!
Those look great!
YUMMMMMMMYYYYYY!!! Can’t wait to try these – Chocolate Fudgy Brownies are one of my favorite deserts!! Thanks for sharing!
I absolutely adore your photography. Your sweets look pretty good as well
Wow those do look glorious and fudgy.
Congrats on being a part of Tasty Kitchen! Amazing recipe. I’m going to have to take the pepsi challenge to attempt to healthi-fy this! Its like my favorite dark chocolate bar with sea salt (Olive & Sinclair) in brownie form! Dangerous.
Oh I just looove your blog – every post makes me feel like really treating myself with love and kindness….and some chocolate for good measure.
Thank you!
Oh no. I see stretchy pants in my future.
Okay this post clinched it- you are officially my “dealer” of food porn.
I’ve been looking for a perfect brownie recipe as of lately. I think I may have found it!!!
Not fair Jenna…not fair
Gooey and fudgey? Oh myyyy, these sound too good to be true. I am DEFINITELY going to be making these in the very near future!
I dunno Jenna. I made the world’s best brownies ever the other day. Maybe, I’ll have to have a brownie bake-off this week.
bake-off!!
I am a total salty snacker but love baking so this would be perfect for me. The contest looks like it is going to be so fun!
Those look great!
Stop! Your killing me
These would be perfect for my Valentine’s Day party next weekend!!
These look delish! And such awesome news that you are a contributor on Tasty Kitchen… it’s no lie that most of the recipes I have tagged on there are yours already! Good job!
Will definitely be making these for Valentine’s Day. Seriously, nothing says love better than chocolate, right?
it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day!
this looks so amazing. totally embodies the “salty/sweet” fascination we humans have.
I’m making these today because the picture won’t stop starring at me and telling me to make them
Thanks Jenna!!
I made these for Valentine’s Day.
Charlie (husband) -hmm brownies, ok, I will try one, just never been a big brownie fan
Me – I know, more for me
Charlie – wow, best brownies I have ever every had and I promise I am not just saying that so we can make out
Thanks for the recipe, it was awesome. And so is your blog, way to keep it real!
Hey Jenna – I made these this weekend (there is only one left and I’m trying to talk myself out of going back to the kitchen for it) but I was just wondering – did you add more salt after pulling them out of the oven? Mine didn’t have adorable salt crystals left on top by the time they came out of the oven, but were still totally delish.
My favorite chocolate is Lindt Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt, I’m thinking Salted Fudge Brownies are gonna be my new favorite brownies!
