I love it when my food blogger friends come visit me.

We give ourselves permission to be extraordinarily vain and take 419 photos of ourselves everywhere we go.
Exhibit one.

Exhibit two.

Exhibit three

And, finally, four.

No big deal. Just a little hydration.
This morning I helped Caitlin make an enormous green monster to hopefully heal her before the big event tomorrow. While she drank her kale, I shoveled one and a half bowls of cereal in my mouth.

We hit up the coffee shop, Target, Salvation Army and the farmer’s market and then met her dad for lunch. Burritos were the obvious choice.

I really tried to eat the whole thing but after half, Caitlin and I both couldn’t go on. I’m saving myself for a large cinnamon bun and homemade stuffed shells during carbo-load dinner 2k10 this evening at my apartment.

The boyfriend just told me he can’t wait to carbo-load with us tonight. Clearly you need an ample amount of glycogen to be a spectator.

Also, apparently my bike seat has been way too high this entire time. Caitlin’s dad just fixed it for me. I’m wondering if that’s why I always got a really sore back after my long rides?
The plan is to eat as much as we can today and move as little. We are about to go sit in the hot tub and then take a nap. All while consuming as much food as possible.
Godspeed
