Breakfast

‘Canes A Comin’

Happy Monday, yall!

Looks to be like Tampa got a little ol’ storm headed our way tomorrow! Anyone been watching the weather channel? I secretly wish it was coming to Orlando instead and then maybe school would be canceled for a hurricane day! Those are always fun. 🙂 It’s pretty sunny outside right now but I think that’s about to change here soon…I told Ryan he might have to evacuate to Orlando!

Anyways, this morning I woke up, ate breakfast and am getting ready right now to jump in the car and head back to Orlando. I had two Kashi Go Lean Blueberry waffles with a big spoonful of almond butter, half a banana, and a fage on the side.

Aaaaaaand…..I’m going to stop for coffee, obvi. Ryan bought me a cute little coffee maker last year for the apartment but I’m such a brat and have yet to actually buy coffee for it. It’s hard when you feel like you live two places at once! I will buy some coffee for it just as soon as I’m back and settled but now it’s easier to just drive through Indigo (the coffee shop here) on the two days a week that I’m here.

Todays to-do list includes: WHOLE FOODS!!!!!!!!!! (which I can’t afford but I’m going anyways. Bleh), cardio at the gym, massive loads of laundry and cooking things for the week.

See you for lunch!

Yes, be careful – hope that everyone down there is safe and sound throughout this.
You have given me such good ideas for meals – love it!
I am going to try to eat similar things for breakfast, snacks and lunch as that will help me with my calorie count. I need to count for a while as I am really trying to drop a few.
    Have a good week!

ahhh, hurricane faye is gonna strike us! orlando looks like it will get a Hurricane 1 on Tuesday or Wednesday, so you may not be able to escape it totally. If you don’t want to be alone on Tuesday in the storm, you should come hang out with us. We’re going to have a hurricane party, play couch darts (throw darts at the dartboard from the couch), and drink beer.

that’s really all you CAN do when a ‘cane strikes!

Looks like Tampa will be getting the brunt of the storm. It’s pouring down here in West Palm Beach! I hate this weather.

Also…I love those waffle sandwiches, I really have to start doing that soon!

Hey Jenna, just curious, do you feel those waffle sandwiches hold you over as well as oatmeal? Also, I know you don’t measure but when you say a spoonful of ab, do you think like a tablespoon or do you use closer to 2 tb or 1 1/2? Love the blog!

Ah, Whole Foods. Mine was having a sale this weekend on boxes of assorted mini Clif bars and mini Luna bars. I think I exceeded my budget on those two items alone.

But hey, certain things are worth splurging on. (And when you have driving ahead of you, I think good coffee is definitely one of them!)

    angelcubbie,

I’m thinking that one spoonful = more of less 1 tbsp. I’ve been doing this for so long that by now I have a pretty good idea. Hope that helps! And yes, definitely those sammies hold me over just as well. I love them! 🙂
