Mornin!
I’m running around like a chicken with my head cut off because I have so much to do today before I leave for Boston tomorrow morning! I’m feelin’ good though because I already have the dough made and chilling for the dark chocolate chip almond biscotti I’m making for Caitlin’s Team in Training bake sale this weekend!!

Ahhh early morning baking. Can you believe I used to do this for a living?! But only at 3 a.m., not 7 a.m.??? Crazy times.
The dough has to chill for two hours and then in typical biscotti fashion, is baked twice. I love these little guys…perfect for hot chocolate, coffee or eating by the handful! 🙂
While I was doing this, I multi-tasked by eating some oats!

This is 1/2 cup oats cooked in 1 cup almond milk with dried cranberries and almond butter. We are out of bananas! 🙁
I’ve already printed my boarding pass, organized all the different lists and agendas and mentally decided what to pack. I’m one of those people that are anally organized when it comes to packing and planning trips. I LOVE to-do lists and get a secret thrill from checking off items in ink on yellow lined paper. I also LOVE to travel. I mean I love, love, love, LOVE to travel so the preparation is half the fun!

August 13, 2009 at 1:47 pmHello Jenna !
I wish you a wonderful weekend in Boston with all the other bloggers and readers! I had a question for you-or for anybody out there who think can answer! I’ve always been a pretty active girl, and if a check my parent’s shape, I don’t think I’m naturally meant to gain weight easily. I exercise 5 times a week and more (like 45 min or more cardio, and strenght), and eat healthy 80% of the time (the other 20% is not that I eat bad, it’s that I eat more, therefore eating more calories). I would like to do more strength training, especially legs since mes arms are well defined, but after 3 workouts, my clothes fit tighter and even my mom thinks I look more bulky in my legs. I tried to do exercises with only my body weight, more reps with less weight, etc. It’s like I must absolutely do only cardio if I want to keep my lean shape, but I find myself more “soft” that way. I’m 5’7 ft and weight 134 lbs since the last month (since the beginning of my increased weight training), usually I weight about 131. Can somebody help me?
