Hi guys!
I had an early lunch today after yoga because I was starving and it is FREEZING (39 degrees!) outside and, somehow, cold weather always makes me super hungry! π
Here’s my yummy sammie combo: 2 slices of my potato rosemary bread with 2 spoonfuls Sabra’s hummus, 1 slice boar’s head provolone and 2 1/2 slices boar’s head black forest turkey breast:
Mmmmm I just LOVE this sandwich combo. So delicious! I’m still quite cold though (should have had soup!) so I think on my way to Sarah’s house in an hour I’m going to stop at Starbucks and get another one of those deeeeelicious rooibos lattes!
So, I have my training class on natural foods and wellness tonight from 5:30-9:30. The bad thing is that its in another city!! I think Lutz is only about 30 minutes away but because I’ll be heading over there right about rush hour, I am leaving at 4:00 to get there on time. There was no notice about them providing us dinner during the class (the class is held at a Publix) so I am going to pack something to take with me….hoping I’ll get a break so I can eat it!
I might not be able to post again until tomorrow…depending on what time I actually get home tonight from this shindig. I haven’t stayed up til’ 10:00 in QUITE a while so it might be a challenge! π
I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of their Thursday—-I’m off to shower and then to start to get into the life of Esther! I can’t wait!

February 5, 2009 at 11:55 amHi Bloggies,
Is anyone out there west of the Rockies? I love reading everyoneβs blogs, but I would like to read someone who lives on the West Coast since stores and product differ and some of what you guys recommend is hard for me to find out here.
Can anyone recommend someone?

February 5, 2009 at 8:00 pmYou would think that being from Boston would make me acclimated to the cold, but freezing weather still makes me want to sit around inside and bake cookies.
On a different note, I’ve been a loyal reader of Eat Live Run for awhile now, and today I took the plunge to start my own food and fitness blog! Come check it out sometime , It’s called Blue Plate Special …

February 5, 2009 at 9:58 pmWhen I was a senior in high school my Dad when on a hunting trip to South Africa (he’s in love with hunting) and while he was there he got hooked on rooibos tea with a little milk in it. Now he always has it in the house and whenever I drink it it reminds me of him. Rooibos is great hot, but let me just tell you that it’s FABULOUS as sun tea! I love ALL herbal teas, I think!

February 6, 2009 at 10:52 amI think cold weather might make you hungry because your body is burning extra calories trying to stay warm. Hot weather definitely kills my appetite.
