giving up the red gummy bears because you know they’re his favorite.
washing, drying and folding his shirts because you know if you don’t, no one will.
cuddling in a hammock over lake tahoe while listening to Sam Cooke on his iphone.
making an extra batch of these, just because.
taking meticulous notes on how he wants vanilla cake with triple chocolate fudge when he finds out he has to be in a sling for six weeks after a little “incident” on the slopes. That’s what you get when you try to videotape while skiing, I guess!
one whole vanilla cake…coming right up!

February 14, 2011 at 12:01 pmI just lost half of my job (hours are cut in half, meaning half a Paycheque).
And on Valentine’s Day. How’s that for cruel?
I think I’d prefer to have a boy do that.
Take care of the boy in the sling.

February 14, 2011 at 1:47 pmWe just celebrated 30 years of marriage and what I can tell you is that the secret to a wonderfully happy marriage is simple. It is just finding out what your spouse needs and trying to meet those needs. If your honey needs cake, well then you are one smart girl to give him cake!

February 14, 2011 at 3:41 pmLove the color & pictures, the sweet Good GF Karma, and the simplicity of your Valentine’s Day post. Note to self: my post did not really need to go back to 15,000 BC, to the stars, to Aphrodite, chocolate & champagne. Just stuck a post-it above my desk. K.I.S.S (keep it simple stupid) 😉
