Hey guys! Quick post before cupcake time.
This morning we surfed instead because there were actually waves and it hurts to walk because of my blister! 🙁
Let me just tell you, surfing is a workout! All that paddling really works all the muscles in your arms and back and it takes a lot of balance to actually stand up on the board. I’m definitely still learning but its a lot of fun!
Lunch was a gardenburger with swiss cheese and hummus on an english muffin with melon!
And now we are heading to “work”! Some of you have asked how I randomly got this little gig for the week and the answer is that one of our friends from high schools little sister opened up this shop a week ago and they are desperately needing any help they can get! Vero is a very very small town and when Ryan (our high school friend) found out Christie and I were back in town for a few days he immediately asked if we would be willing to help out for a couple hours daily this week. Wahoo!
I shall return!
Paige

August 25, 2009 at 5:39 amI didn’t know you surfed! I guess you said you were learning tho….
I do too! But I haven’t used my board in like a year. If you’re ever around Orlando we should go together! (not that orlando has surf… but cocoa does!)
