Ready, Set, Go

Well that’s it. Today is my very last day of culinary school! It seems forever ago but at the same time, just yesterday that I started this journey and although I learned a ton, I’m excited to move on to the next stage of my life!

I came from this (taken one year ago):

To this:

And everywhere else in between.

Y’all have been more supportive than I could ever ask for! I hope my externship will be exciting and won’t disappoint you!! 😉

Anyways, to start my last day of school I made overnight oats. I found this in the pantry:

Ahhh Barney Butter saves my life in the peanut butter outage 🙂

So, using that, I made overnight oats with a chobani and a banana. It was yum but would have been better with cinnamon (it’s packed). Makin’ do with what I have!

And I will report back with snackies at lunch since I haven’t gotten that far in my morning as of yet. Today, since cost control is now over, we are watching A Good Year with Russell Crowe during my first class! I love this movie! You guys should really rent it if you haven’t seen it yet. And then comes my wine final! eek!

Have a great morning!

Ps–Look who is ready for Halloween!

I have a random question that you answered at one point (probably about a year ago) but i can’t find it in the old blog posts. What is the best way to freeze bread? I think i remember something about double wrapping . . .

You should be sure and keep your black cat inside for Halloween. I have a black cat who’s an outdoor cat and we always have to be sure and keep her inside a few days before and on Halloween because you never know about creepy people out there.
