I hope you all remembered to Spring Forward this morning! I love this day because, to me, it’s sort of the official first day of spring. Beach weather is on its way–even though today its quite chilly outside…only in the 50’s! I actually got home last night early, around 10:30. They cut me from work at 9:00! I stopped at the Barnes and Noble next door to get a misto (soy milk with decaf vanilla cormoro tea) and then I was off. I totally crashed into bed when I got here and slept til 8:30 (or really 9:30–a new record!).
For breakfast this morning I made 1.5 packets of Nature’s Path HempPlus oatmeal with 1/2 cup rice milk, 1/2 cup water, some blueberries and a banana. Ryan surprised me by buying me blueberries this weekend because he knows how much I love them in my oats. Awww–what a guy 😉
Ryan wanted me to take a picture of his breakfast too this morning. He had 2 slices of sliced homemade Challah bread with peanut butter (he eats Peter Pan) and honey butter. This is his favorite breakfast that he’s been eating since he was five years old. I tried honey butter once and thought it was gross…but to each their own! At least he is enjoying my bread! I brought one loaf of French bread sourdough, one loaf of pumpernickel, one loaf of Challah and a dozen soft rolls home with me.
Let them eat bread!
