Lunch

When Push Comes To Shove

This morning I packed up my things and vacated the premises. There was water everywhere and, frankly, it was starting to smell. I felt bad for leaving Dexter behind but it was every man for himself (herself?)!

While the plumber worked, I took up a temporary office in Starbucks:

Chugged some SuperFood (and tea):

And ate the lunch I had packed for myself!

Gina is obsessed with this millet bread so I thought I would give it a try. I like things with a Fitnessista stamp of approval 🙂 I made a yummy almond butter and jelly sandwich on it and really liked it! The bread is pretty small…but dense! And very filling. Sort of sweet too (it is fruit juice sweetened) and was really yummy toasted.

I’m off to get a few more pages done before I have to be at the studio at 4:00…then I’m taking a 90 minute power class at 6:00. See you later!

Keep on posting your tea entries….I will pick a winner in the morning!!

I’ve been wanting to try millet since I saw it on Gina’s page too. When I saw it in the store, though, it looked small like you said. I think I may have to give it a try anyway =) I definitely don’t discriminate when it comes to BREAD, haha!

OOOhhh, I LOVE that millet bread. It is sweet like you said and oh so tasty when combines with nut butters. I totally agree that it is dense and filling. The company that makes that bread makes other breads with a few different grains and they are pretty good too, well, at least as good as gluten free bread can be. 🙂
