Breakfast

A Very Special Day

Someone slept in until 8:30 over here ;). To justify myself though I was awake from 1:30-3 a.m….usually I have trouble falling asleep but once I do, I stay asleep. Its a rare occasion that I wake up in the middle of the night and roam around for hours. I’m so glad when my alarm went off at 7 I rolled back over, even if it did mean missing my favorite yoga class. A girl needs her beauty rest!

When I finally did arise, I made a waffle sandwich with my new almond butter!

Thank you SO much, Tom, for the wonderful almond butter and almonds from the Briden Wilson Farm!! Of course I said yes when Tom contacted me and asked me if I would care to try his homemade almond butter….obviously! It was such wonderful timing that my almond butery package should arrive yesterday 🙂 The almond butter was suuuuuuuper creamy and delicious and, I don’t know about you, but I’d rather support small businesses and farms when I can! I can’t wait to snack on the wasabi almonds…yum!
With a plum (sorry, awful lighting):

I also had a glass of iced green tea that I made yesterday. Tazo has a new line of specialty iced teas and I was excited to try this!

Ok, my first time commenting(loooooong time lurker)
I am so jealous you are going to see Julie and Julia! From someone who just went through a devastating breakup in June(3.5 years and he cheated on me with who is now his gf), everyday does get better. There are days when I wake up and immediately have tears in my eyes and then there are days where I don’t think about him at all. You are very lucky to have an amazing group of friends and super resilient family, this is the time to depend on them 🙂
