Nail Biting Suspense

Hi friends 🙂

OMG I am STILL on the edge of my seat from Changeling. I loved the movie but I swear I burned calories because my heart was beating so fast the entire time. I sat there on the edge for 2 1/2 hours….yall NEED to see the movie!

To rewind a little though—-thank you for all the sweet comments regarding my new header! I love it too! In fact, I can’t stop looking at it! Speaking about headers, I’ve been thinking about trying my hand at designing bumper stickers. I told Christie the idea and she thought it was awesome…something really cute that you wouldn’t be embarrassed to show off?! Any thoughts? I love bumper stickers and am proud to sport a big pink palmetto tree on the back of Sami (my honda). 😉

This afternoon while present wrapping, I snacked on the remainder of a big tub of Oikos (probably about a half cup left?) with a quarter cup of organic cranberry pecan granola.

Before the movie, Christie and I went out for our favorite—Thai food! We have ALWAYS gone to a place here called Saigon Bistro (I even had my 17th bday party there back in the day) but it recently shut down…much to our chagrin.  So, tonight we tried a new place called Sumo House. It was much better than I expected! Here is Christie, reading the menu diligently

I started off with some miso soup:

And for my entree, I got my very favorite thing ever: basil tofu!

I loved this place even more because there was the option of brown rice!

It was absolutely delicious! I’m sure the tofu was fried because it usually is in Asian dishes like that but it tasted amazing. The portion was quite large though and I didn’t finish it all. I would say I ate about 75% then called it quits. Five hours later and I’m still full!

I’m about to hit the sack. I hope everyone had a great weekend and I’ll see you for breakfast!

Changeling! I told you – there’s seriously no break from the intensity! My friend and I left the theater and didn’t know what to do with ourselves. The only thing we could think of was to go home and watch the Disney Channel.

Oooh I like Christie’s hair color now! So different from the other pictures! She was beautiful as a blonde—but I really like it dark 🙂 You guys are both adorable! It sounds like you had a fun night!

I’ve been wanting to see it, but my husband has been resisting. He thinks it’ll be too depressing. Food looks great. LOVE miso soup!

Eat, Live, Run – You should just put your title on a bumper sticker. I’d buy one!

Tell your Bestie that she looks AMAZING with dark hair; I know it is a hard switch to go from blonde to dark but for some people it works – like me – and it appears like her too! 🙂

The food looks so good, I love thai and we get it for take out about once a week. I usually get the panang curry, seriously addicted but if we eat out I am open to trying something new. I especially love all the fresh veggies. I think I have to thai one on tonight now. 🙂
